Guest Fillyfooler September 15, 2012 September 15, 2012 I have started to narrate to my tupla in my head while forcing. I'd like to actually talk to her but I can't since any words I hear make me lose my concentration while forcing. Is there any way to talk to her without forcing? I have lots to say to her I just don't want to have to find wordless music and a couch in a dark room to say it.
Sands September 15, 2012 September 15, 2012 How about you lurk more. There's even a search function. Yes, of course you can narrate whenever you want, however you want. The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
Lolimancer September 15, 2012 September 15, 2012 You... just talk to her without forcing, i guess? I mean, it's exactly like you say, you can talk whenever (maybe not out loud when there are people around if you don't want to face dire consequences in the long term).
QB2 September 15, 2012 September 15, 2012 Just talk to her. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Guest Fillyfooler September 15, 2012 September 15, 2012 Just talk to her. How do I talk to her without feeling like I'm talking to myself?

Guest Anonymous September 15, 2012 September 15, 2012 One of the first steps to getting a "sentient" tulpa is to believe from the get-go that he/she is already sentient. If you feel like you're simply talking to yourself, that will negatively effect both you and you're tulpa's development. If you haven't already lurked all over the forums, I suggest you do; you'll read about how some tulpae report having memories even as early as when the host said "I'll create a tulpa!" I have yet to get any kind of vocal or emotional response from Sophie, but I still view her as another functional consciousness.
Chupi September 16, 2012 September 16, 2012 How do I talk to her without feeling like I'm talking to myself? Hard to describe... Hold the idea of her in your head while you talk. It's okay if you lose the feeling sometimes; it improves with time. It's sorta like what you do when you talk to someone on the phone. But yeah, narrate all day if you can. Lyra: "Just talk." <--I think she means that the fact that you're talking to them is more important than what you talk about. Lyra: human female, ~17 Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her My blog :: Time expectations are bad (forcing time targets are good though)
Captain Nemo September 16, 2012 September 16, 2012 Pretend your tulpa is sitting right in front of you, and you're talking to her. Or, if that's too hard, you can imagine she's behind you. But just know that she's there, and know she's listening to you whenever you talk to her. Just talk like she's another person, because she is.
Guest Anonymous September 16, 2012 September 16, 2012 Yeah. Sometimes I'll just sit on my bed and talk in a whisper voice to Aria like she's on the bed next to me. And when my parents ask me to come downstairs, I say to Aria that she can stay in my room or come with me. When I go to the bathroom, I tell Aria she can walk around for a little.
