We're leaving for our first real quest, technically we're not going anywhere, just guard duty for a land negotiation. We're underleveled for this so hopefully all goes well and it's an easy paycheck.

Since new Misha is so far behind, she's having "dream wave battles" while she sleeps, she made it half way through wave 2 and they were "hard or deadly" level so she was pretty good at it. It's a good indicator that her character is kinda overbuilt for level 1.

 

Bear made Ashley cry because she was jealous of me and Bear wasn't very supportive. After she teared up he helped her through it. I haven't taken "favorite" status from her but Bear does listen to me more and he said he didn't want to dissapoint me where Ashley protested that he didn't listen to her as much. Otherwise we're great! Ashley wants to defect from the online group and join ours but that would leave poor Joy out by herself mostly. Though I doubt Joy would cry about it. We all love Ashley of course, but with Gwen,  New Misha and I hogging a lot of the attention she's feeling left behind and that's really new for her.

 

I guess we better somehow add her in some way. That would make a party of 5 though and that's going to be harder for SheShe to work. It's a tough puzzle to solve right now. Maybe we can somehow magically switch to a different timeline?

 

Anyway, it's first world problems, Bear's constantly thinking of Ashley when we're not in game.

She won't though, we wouldn't allow her messing up our beautiful run. She'd have to play a whole other character and not be partly homicidal cyborg demigod, nor ruled by a pact with an evil god of destruction. There's a lot of red flags there and we're teaching Bear to avoid red flags.

 

[Ashley] no, they're stuck with me, I'm just taking the gloves off now. But if I can think of another aspect I want to play then I'm strong-arming SheShe to pop me in, it would be a reincarnation thing or something though.

We had an amazing exhibition battle, going in we were a 4:1 challenge which is way beyond deadly and with some epic 1st level sorceress spells, a lot of luck, and ranged vs melee we managed to defeat the challengers while only losing Gwen (its non-lethal combat). We had a lot of critical hits and lucky hits, Bear got his HP cut in half in one hit, but Gwen took a critical hit with a great sword with only 12 HP to begin with. One critical error on her part was she miscalculated the distance a champion fighter could run using action surge.

 

Very fun, she made it 4/7 rounds so she still got some XP, we're all level 2 now.

 

We're using a modified level scale that ends up the same by level 20 but levels slower in the first ew levels so it feels like a big accomplishment and the bonus to HP and other perks are worth savoring as we'll be level 2 for a while.

I really appreciate new Misha, she's a very positive roll model.  She feels a lot like a grown up version of Misha, she's so mature!

We had another fun quest now it's the afternoon and nothing to do! It's fun to explore or just go somewhere to relax. Tomorrow we work.

To solve the issue and complexity of running two campaigns in the same world, SheShe bifurcated them putting us on a different parallel timeline, and in this new timeline, Ashley works at the guild so we can see and talk to her more often.

 

Maaaaaybe she can convince us to add her to our party. But then once again Ashley gets more attention then anyone, but if it helps her to be as amazing as I am then I can't complain.

 

She says her goal is personality improvement. I've really started a trend in the system.

 

[Gwen] yeah, because until this game, for the past year Autumn has had more than double the attention as everyone else combined.

 

I can't help that Bear secretly thinks of me as the new favorite.

 

I do think it's fair though, so now we have everyone with a lot of attention, so maybe if she's really nice she can join us eventually.

 

[Gwen] I had Bear all to myself once...

 

Okay it has to be a unanimous decision.

 

This is an amazing time for us, we really appreciate it and it's thanks to Ashley for suggesting it so I think it's fair.

 

[Gwen] she's a really cool character too. She doesn't have wings, but she does transform into a demon panther so that's neat. I actually look forward to petting her.

Okay well now new alternate less annoying version of Ashley is officially going to join our group. Since we're all mostly OP custom she's going to be boosted to have better summons but less of them. We're leaving on a long quest in-game tomorrow and it'll take a week in game just to get to the small town where the issue is so we couldn't leave without her. It's a fate/destiny thing. She will be buffed and we're considering she'll still be a pacifict cursed summoner sorceress but perhaps one that instead of only summoning zombified creatures from the negative plane, she'll summon cute cuddly things like instead of a fetid necrotic rat, a negative plane bloodthirsty demon kitty.

 

We're so happy to have her actually because now she can't complain that she's not included, but seriously she's trying to forge herself as a better person and now we can help her directly. She'll always be our aggressive, argumentative sister but maybe we can round off the edges like we did with Bear.

 

[Gwen] I feel like Bear's been neutered, like this version of Bear is so relaxed and kind and cuddly and irl Bear is often a bear to deal with. I'm just happy he's this version with me. Ashley deals with his irl version a lot maybe that's why she's so tough. If this forcing brings his irl version closer to his D&D version then wow, that would be wonderful. I just want to add that I love him either way.

 

Mhm! We all love our cuddle Bear even when he's an emoting stressed out Bear. Ashley too. 

 

[Gwen] I was worried that adding Ashley would be crazy like we're already cozy but now I'm so excited to learn more about her, we rarely ever talked in the last 5 years even when we played "three sisters play", now we can chat away on our adventurers.

 

Come to think of it we talk strategy and about this game and problem solving, is there really anything else that we'd ever talk about? This is what we have in common now. Just being headmates wasn't enough, now we're a team of adventurers. This is already giving us beautiful memories together so even if it ended some day we're guaranteed to stay close friends.

 

Of course SheShe and Joy are included as DMs so don't think we're neglecting them. SheShe's book is always rolling, Joy is the major content generator even for us. It's wild!

 

We have so much forcing now that last night Bear was talking to all of us and he was thinking, we need more people. 

 

[Gwen] *cue laugh track*

 

She's been kitted out with a whole new wardrobe so now we can't just be color coordinated fur armor, we all need new outfits too!

So Ashley's playing hard to get and SheShe's egging her on, so now we have to convince her to join our party.

 

She's actually going to be very useful and we changed her summons from necrotic rats and wasps to Demon cats and bee dragons both very cute! 

 

I realized my panther form won't be available till level 3 but my cat form cam frolic with her cat summons! So fun.

 

In game she's basically intimidated by us and doesn't want to be a 3rd(5th) wheel since we're all so buddybuddy and she's not.
