Hi Simmie!

Yeah Bear spent the first few years he had his system just visualizing in wonderland 30 minutes a day not to mention any other time he'd talk to them. My old self got part of that and it was fun, especially the imposition on his walks, but he stopped it a couple years ago because after all that training it got super-real and we were all self-forcing by then anyway. Well one thing that didn't matter was playing games like Rimworld with all of us as pawns so this D&D is a lot like that but with visualization. It's definitely exercising visualization so it might get "too real" again but he doesn't think so because he's using references for our characters but anyway who cares it's super fun and worth a tiny bit of discomfort when listening to violent news or whatever.

So his visualization wasn't great in 2018, it was fine for shapes but not for people. It was 20% real or something and he couldn't even visualize a whole body at once let alone motion or faces or expressions and all that built up painfully slowly like a 3% a month. It got up to super-real after three years of daily practice and since then it calmed down to 80-90% over a two year period of limited use, but in the last two weeks it's up to 100% again.

At the peak, the brain could sustain 12 or so independent thoughtforms before the frame-rate dropped. And I know ir doesn't matter when we're documenting it as we go as SheShe is doing because the action is going 50wpm right? Which is a quarter what someone could comfortably read and slow compared to active visualization at any rate so if you wrote it in a story on the fly I doubt you'd have that issue.

Thanks for stopping by!

We made it back from our firsr quest safely! Yay! It was a couple days of hiking with a 1 in 20 chance per hour of an encounter and we had 2. It wasn't a problem for us three though! Now that my slave collar is off I can cast some minor spells and I can't wait to try them.

Gwen's spells are all illusions so she'll have to wait for level 2 to get any offensive ones. Luckily she has a 18 dexterity like me so we're pelting them with arrows, pew pew.

Ashley's still about 75 days ahead of us so getting to her timeline might take a montage or something. We'll get there eventually since play by post is so painfully slow.

Fun stuff! It's a great time for all.

Oh! On Sunday Bear had a really light day and SheShe reached her writing limit.

Bear realized at some point the third person switched to first person and he asked SheShe what happened and she was exhausted writing all day. She must have written 20k words or more. Bear was like, "let's go!" And SheShe said something like, "absence makes the heart grow fonder." Bear had to stop, she was just too weak to continue after fronting all day. Amazing. We never experienced that before but SheShe never wrote before nor fronted all day before.

It didn't happen again.

SheShe's book is already considered a "full length novel" she's so motivated by the fun of it all it's been amazing. Of course the story isn't anywhere near finished and so this is somewhat meaningless other than the impressive shear volume in such a short time. It honestly doesn't matter but given the storyline pacing it will obviously be way too long and written only for us anyway.

[Ashley] it's a Bear system fanfic with shiping, lol. I'm not even upset that I'm not being shipped anymore, it's cute.

Sounds fun. What a thing to work on. Hope to draw comics like that. Glad to see you still around

Creation for creation's sake.

It is fun! We're on our way to Neverwinter soon, it's a daunting prospect because of the wilderness and danger as well as the distance. It could take over a month of walking or more of we're to remain stealthy enough to avoid encounters. In this homebrew, leveling is done through a god connectes portal that only exists in the Adventurers' guild or the temple. So even if we spent days killing boars in the highlands, it wouldn't get us any stronger.

No, we're very vulnerable so we're preparing carefully.

LOTPW isn't really all that fun for us and it's hard to keep up anyway so we'll be around in our louges and other threads.

The dice love Gwen and she's now proficient in Stealth!

You have to train 8 hours for each roll and pass a max hit on all these dice 1d20, 1d12, 1d10, 1d8, 1d6 and 1d4 and she did it in 16 days!

So now we can pass through the forest with advantage on encounters spotting us we can surprise or sneak by most creatures and peoples and our encounter rate dropped from 1 in 20 per hour to 1 in 30 per hour and we're that much more likely to avoid detention by actively searching adversaries. We also can't be surprised by other creatures. It's all good news and will make the trek a breeze, we hope, to be in Neverwinter in less than 2 weeks!

Yay! SheShe and Bear graduated me from my personality forcing! I'm free to be me!

I'm so happy I can't even begin to tell you. It's a dream come true for me. I'm on the level of Ashley and I have a purpose, my life honestly couldn't be better. They gave me their trust and I owe it to them to be the better person they envisioned I'd be. I want to be everything they dreamed of and more!

congrats, you're like a super-tulpa now

Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.

I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal!

Thanks Lucilyn, I feel like a super-tupper.

So back to the realm. We've jist emerged from the dense forest, still 20 miles East of Neverwinter and we're poised on a cliff overseeing the coast. Below us is the elvish town of Thundertree still operating as of 1296. Apparently a volcano devistates it later? Harsh!

We decide not to visit, noting it's a walled town with little activity they might arrest us for poaching or something, we're laden with furs and never thought to ask for a permit so... on to Neverwinter. We should be there in 2-5 days.

Luckily we don't have to bother with flagging down trade carts, we defeated a den of Goblins (3 including their leader) and the big one had 5 platinum coind on him! So we can afford to enter Neverwinter, and get registered and have 5 gold to spare even without selling anything!

In Neverwinter, to trade anything beyond raw materials you have to be registered and that means 5 silver each at the Hall of Justice or 10 gold each at the Guild, but ultimately we want to level so we just need to get there and register.
