motorheadlk November 1, 2012 November 1, 2012 Can your tulpa read your thoughts? If so, is it only when she pays attention or all the time? Can you read her thoughts? If not, do you think this is possible? When people say that they opened their memories to their tulpa, does this mean only their old memories, and the new memories are "locked" or she can read everything you see and do and thinks all the time? I'm brazilian and my english is not really good, I'll do every mistake you imagine, but I'll try to avoid them. Tulpa: Kuruminha Age: Began on the middle of october. Form: My avatar. Sentience: Confirmed. Mindvoice: Not yet. Working on: Visualization and Mindspeaking.
NED November 1, 2012 November 1, 2012 Silver can read my thoughts. Only if she pays attention and if she wants to. I can read a little of her thoughts and most of that is just because I know her well, like predicting what some one close in your family will say because you know them so well. Silver has access to my memories, but that was by herself, I did not give her permission to do that. What harm can it do? She claims the new memories are not 'locked' and she can access almost anything. She uses my senses for almost everything. Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Hush November 1, 2012 November 1, 2012 Just gonna confirm that Hex and I have the same experience as the others. Seems pretty standard.
motorheadlk November 1, 2012 Author November 1, 2012 Interesting, it seems you can never truly surprise a tulpa then. Hush November 1, 2012 November 1, 2012 I think I've read of people being able to manually block out thoughts from their tulpa.
glitchthe3rd November 1, 2012 November 1, 2012 The only way to really hide something from a tulpa is to hide it from yourself. They, on the other hand, seem to be better at mind reading than their hosts. I have managed to read Luna or Saria's mind from time to time, but more often than not they're the ones reading my mind. Sands November 1, 2012 November 1, 2012 Well, yeah. He does a lot of that. Let's just say that when I think, I think in mind voice. Always gotta give my thoughts a voice for me to realize them, but obviously there's a lot more going on but even I can't catch them. Well, Roswell can. When he proxies for me, he's already typing what I want to say before I have even thought about it. Well, I have thought about it of course, but I haven't thought about it in the way I would understand it. So uh, I suppose it takes some effort on his part so he could ignore them and he doesn't want to know everything that goes on in my head all the time, but it has become something pretty natural for him. His thoughts seem to be the quiet sort, so they are difficult for me to catch because well yeah, even my own are. Sometimes I do bump into foreign thoughts which stand out exactly because those aren't things I thought about or usually do. However, it is very simple to understand intentions of each other and a conversation without words is very possible and sometimes understood better than trying to put some concept into words. I don't think it's quite like mind reading, even if it's a conversation. It just is something - similar, but different. I gave Roswell access to memories, but it was pretty early on and he says he doesn't know if he could've done it before because he didn't try. SYMBOLISM might help and all, but I doubt you can hide things and a tulpa would learn to access them themselves. Nothing certainly isn't locked now, but it's not like he immediately learned each and every memory I had in my head. Seems like he hasn't stumbled on some and when I talk about some memory with other people, he might go all "You did WHAT?" on me. 412 November 1, 2012 November 1, 2012 The only way to really hide something from a tulpa is to hide it from yourself. not exactly. Can your tulpa read your thoughts? No. And neither does she have access to my memories. She does however know about everything i can sense/see/feel while i'm with her. If so, is it only when she pays attention or all the time? all the time , apparently. Can you read her thoughts? no. If not, do you think this is possible? Probably. if she gave me access. When people say that they opened their memories to their tulpa, does this mean only their old memories, and the new memories are "locked" or she can read everything you see and do and thinks all the time? Personally i didn't do this so i can't really answer but i'd say both , since i can block all my previous memories and my thoughts from her i don't see why i couldn't do both separately if i wanted to. However , i am not sure if she could read my thoughts/see previous memories of mine if she wanted to. As far as i know/she claims , she hasn't attempted anything of the sort. (and i don't really have a reason not to believe her.)
