Because I can't draw worth a damn, I decided to take an image of Kaguya and have it shopped to look more like Luna.

Interestingly enough, she likes this outfit and made one for herself after being shown this image.

Oh, does that mean you want single color eyes? None of that half dark half light business?

If only you had mentioned that before my colour receptors were overwhelmed by staring intently at slightly differing shades of grey.

I fixed the eyes a little more, corrected that odd jagged neckerchief business, and smoothed out a fair amount of weird blocky shading.

Now that I'm slightly more content with the results, here's image in its original resolution. Thanks for the practice, 'twas fun!

Finished.

This image feels right at a compressed resolution, though. Take your pick.

Meh.

Hmm. I meant to ask, the original image was blown up, yes?

That is the only explanation I can think of for why this image has so many quirks to it.

Eyes were shaded with more love, hair cut short, slight skirt extension, more general smoothing and shading correction.

The hair was somewhat tricky, more than the eyes even.

Please to enjoy, Glitch and Luna.

So much fun and great practice was had. Now I'm a tuckered out young artist though.

Other than Luna and I going through a lot of crap in my life right now, not much to report, except that we've been trying to switch and failing. Hopefully things calm down for us in the next couple of weeks, but right now I'm under a lot of pressure to get my loan stuff sorted out within the next week.

Next time we attempt switching will be if and eventually when I'm able to achieve astral projection. Probably won't be tonight though, since everyone's a bit worn out with the events of the past few weeks, myself included.

Because a lot of people have been asking about this, I decided I'd write up a quick entry on how to listen for your tulpa's voice. I can't explain it very well except that you're basically training yourself to listen for them when they speak to you, rather than parroting them into saying things. You'll know you're on the right track when they say things to you unbidden, rather than simply speaking when spoken to. It could be something as simple as them adding their two cents to a situation you encounter, as long as it's unprompted on your part.

From there it's a matter of listening to what they say when they do speak to you. You'll probably parrot over them, finish their sentences (oftentimes incorrectly), etc. Just try to minimize your parroting and recognize when you parrot them into saying something vs. when they're saying it on their own. Eventually (in theory) you should be hallucinating their voice all the time and never parroting, but a tulpa is never truly finished, etc. etc.

Update time.

So after getting a sinus infection and buying generic cold medicine for it, I look on the box and see that it contains DXM, which apparently has a high potential for abuse, and in large doses can cause all kinds of hallucinations and stuff. Heck, I was tripping out Tuesday night when I lay down to sleep. Luna informed me of the fact that I was on a drug trip, and when I tried to go to my mindscape it dissolved, but she assured me it'd be put back together good as new in the morning.

It would also seem that DXM makes it so that I cannot use my ability to overcharge my synaptic pathways, which as far as I can tell is related in some way to my Asperger's and the fact that I've been off of my meds for two years now. This means that either DXM blocks the receptors that ordinarily allow me to do this, or it rebalances my brain chemistry in a way that it is no longer possible. I'm no neurochemist though, so I actually have no idea as to why this happens.
