How and why did you choose your tulpa(e)'s name?

Recommended Posts

My tulpa is named Nebri. It actually comes from my favorite character in Unreal Tournament 2004. As a kid I made an imaginary friend using her look and 10 years later I'm using that name for the not-so-imaginary friend in my head. XD

Desmond decided his name himself, I just gave him the letter "D", because he was a white fox with red eyes, which seemed "demonic", haha.

Nevira used to be Shiva, but she told me she wanted to use this other name. Both I got from an Asari name generator or a Dragon Age elf name generator, along with many other name suggestions... I wanted the name to go along with her Asari appearance, which she seems to like, and that's great :)

Ava just sort of chose her name one day, like "I like this name, call me that." XD I think she got it from some gravestones I was looking at a day or two prior

The name I always wanted was Lucas, so I was going to name her that(back when Markus was a guy :P ) but I was worried that I might just project my image of a perfect me onto her so I changed the name up a bit, and it stuck :P

Markus is the tulpa, and I don't really have anything else to say.

I named my first one Citra, after a suggestion in scouts. My second one is named Sophie, because she is pink and Sophie is a pink name.

Nash named himself, I told him that a short name would be easier because I dislike to pronounce long names and why he chose Nash, I never asked.

My tulpa's name is Apple, which doesn't really seem to fit him at all- but he chose it for himself, so whatever floats his boat, I guess. Maybe he really likes Apples and I don't know it yet?
