Wizardsocks November 29, 2012 November 29, 2012 Hey this is my first post. I have the ground work for my tulpa down, but before i start i want to know how human the final product feels? How opinionated and such. Another question I have is should I puppet my tulpa? iv'e heard thats thats good and bad from separate sources.
Aarix November 29, 2012 November 29, 2012 Youll feel mass but no pressure behind it. The emotion will be there and thats the important. They'll be as opinionated as a human gets. As for puppeting, its ok, (subjective) to do it early, heck, some say it gives you a tulpa a guideline so yes but dont get confy with it. Romm November 29, 2012 November 29, 2012 Yep, it feels pretty much like another person, they don't strictly follow common human psychology or anything though.
fennecfoxx November 29, 2012 November 29, 2012 A tulpa's personality is just as "real" as anyone else's. Tulpae are people, too, after all. As for puppeting, that's okay early on, but you should stop when the puppeting starts to become "automatic". Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here: Host: fennec (they/them) Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her) Delete all memories of those who know my awkward past
Sands November 29, 2012 November 29, 2012 Roswell is like any other person as far as I can tell, except that he has been alive for a much shorter time. He is curious and wishes to experience new things, like any young creature. These six months we have been together have been full of discoveries and learning for the both of us, but mostly him. He is much different from what he was early on, but it's still the same Roswell. He just grew. He has his own hopes and dreams and there are things that make him happy. Little things make him excited and what wouldn't he love more than eating the crepes I made for him after he asked me to. Or begged. Even though we had just eaten and the stomach was full and eating those crepes was kind of painful but it was worth it. Apparently. He is social and needs to talk with others and has his own friends he cares for deeply, having different relationships from me with the people I know. Roswell has his personal fears as well, some that have made him break down pretty badly. He can be selfish and he feels guilty about things he has done that proved out to be bad decisions. There certainly is some kind of conscience there, which is pretty funny seeing that I don't really feel bad about things I do, even if I know I've done wrong. We don't share our opinions on many things and we can disagree a lot. But we compromise, because we live together and share everything, so there's no room for lack of respect. I can't control him and make him think something he wouldn't, so what's inside our uh, heads, is very different from what I've noticed. He's another person to me like you are. We just share a body. QB2 November 29, 2012 November 29, 2012 You're just a personality profile put together through reactions to your life experiences. Tulpas are the same thing. In all those respects they are indistinguishably human. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Wizardsocks November 29, 2012 Author November 29, 2012 Thank you guys so much all of you, I did not expect the community to be this active. Should i be worried about developing feelings for my tulpa or vise versa? D: I mean haveing someone that understands you completely and all , and i'm makeing them how I would want a perfect person in my opinion to be.
Lolimancer November 29, 2012 November 29, 2012 Should i be worried about developing feelings for my tulpa or vise versa? If the thought does worry you, then you probably better be worried. Bearing romantic feelings towards thoughtforms is no longer an entirely foreign concept to me at this point in time, and it is not exactly what i thought it would become of the relationship in the beginning. I don't think it is something to be worried about, though.
