"Wait! Calm down!"

[align=center]Chloe strength D11; rolled 10

G strength D20; rolled 16[/align]

Chloe pulled G to a stop and she starts thinking. Chloe always think of a person's motive whenever he or she did something. Often times, the motive deduced from the situation given is very different from what everyone initially thoughts.

Why would Miah burn this town if she wish to save us? Is she trying to destroy the wall to get in? But it's too strong! Burning won't do! She can't get in that way.

Chloe looked at the smoke, it's not that large, the fire is not spreading much from what she can tell.

Miah is a cunning woman. A cunning person deceives the enemy whenever possible. Fire signifies an attempt to destroy the wall. That's a deception. She's NOT trying to burn the town! But what's the point of fire then? Fire would bring all the guards there to stop the fire... DISTRACTION!

"It's a distraction G! Miah's trying to get into the town and rescue us by distracting all the guards toward the fire! If the guard caught Joal and G, they'd be killed! We have to get to them first!"

Chloe then starts to run towards the fire, then stop and think again.

Fire's at the east causing distraction. Miah would be somewhere else, but is it north, south or west? Probably not west, it's way too far for them.

"G, you go north! I'll go south! Don't ask! Find Miah and tell her we're ok!"

With that said, Chloe jumped with an explosive force from her shadow and flew into the air. The shadow wing spreads from her back as Chloe went for the southern wall.

Chloe now went to the south and Vixen's at the west.

And please, call me G.

Miah's ok with that?

She doesn't want to place the guards, so Pruria has. Considering the two should be in the heat of the action, she just thought it would be best to hurry things along.

Edit: Just thinking about it there, that is god modeing a bit; bad Pruria, bad. [No...]

It's only a short little battle, just to hurry things along, if Miah wants to take initiative she may do so; I apologise for my partner's enthusiasm, she just wants to get on with that story and fighting.

[sorry.]

The two continued across the wall, guards from below begun to run into the doors at the base of the turrets. Pruria whispered to Miah, [We're done for now.]

From to turret to the south a door opened, and a DSC knight came running through to check the fire. He soon saw the two very conspicuous characters, plain out in the open. (([should have taken the chance to hide, I think if we take care of this guy fast enough we can still hide.]))

''Hey! You're the ones who started the fire!''

The gaurd rushed forward, Pruria jumped into the air and prepared for his attack,

[align=center]Height advantage; -2 to agility rolls. Melee weapon; +2 to accuracy rolls.

New stats:

Strength — 8d

Agility — 12d (-2)

Accuracy — 14d (+2)

The guard slashed into the air at the pegasus.

Guard attacks, roll accuracy; 19: 9

The girl maneuvered out of the way of the sword and attempted at a counter attack, aiming for the head,

Pruria attacks, roll accuracy; 14: 8

Guard (d2; 1) dodge, roll agility; 21: 20

The bass made good contact with the knight's head; his feet too slowed by his heavy armor,

Second chance: target, 24. Roll endurance; 11: 8 ((This could take a while.))

The knight survived the hit but becomes very disorientated,

[align=center]+3 to endurance, +1 to accuracy.

Knight: hardened knight; halves penalties: +1.5, +0.5. Round up: +2 to endurance, +1 to accuracy. ((I'm going to skip that bullshit next time and just halve it initially.))

New stats:

Strength D11

Agility D21

Accuracy D20 (+1)

Endurance D13 (+2)[/align]

Pruria, saw that the knight was icy-feeted, raised her bass again and aimed to knock the guard unconscious.

[align=center]Difficulty: -2 to accuracy roll for one turn. Accuracy; 12d (-2).

Roll accuracy; d12: 12, Critical fail.

No need for knight to roll.[/align]

Pruria aimed to hit the guard on his back, but missed completely. She hit the ground and caused the instrument to vibrate violently in her hooves, causing her some confusion and giving the guard time to re-orientate and prepare for another attack. In her confusion, Pruria descended back to the ground, stats revert to normal. Difficulty limmiter finished. She saw the sword coming quickly for her face and held the bass in front of her head.

Knight attack, roll accuracy; d20: 2

Block, roll strength; d8: 5

The sword came hard onto the body of Joal's shield, but she lost grip and the blade makes contact with her fore-leg;

Second chance, oh shit. Target: 6. Roll endurance; d16: 9

The knight's swing shone through and successfully managed to sever the pony's strumming hoof. Pruria screamed in pain from the sudden pain; the beginnings of blood from the end of her fore leg confirmed that it was her hoof she seen on the ground. She rolled onto her belly and, using her adrenaline, kicked the guard away from her. She garbed her base with her other hoof and scampered to her hind legs so she could catch wing. She wearily found her way back to Miah, leaving a trail of blood behind her, [FUCKING OW!]

The knight re-stanced him self from the kick and battle roared before changing at the two again. [s- sorry Miah...] The pony said, trying her best to tighten her hair around the stump to stop the bleeding, like her partner had told her to do, as a joke, a few years before.

And please, call me G.

(( I suppose I will place the guards, but if anyone feels the need, don't hesitate to throw a curve ball at me.))

On the wall, two guards stood, looking dumbstruck at the woman who had just appeared. They wore light grey leather armor, marked with some sort of insignia, a dragon perhaps. Miah smirked. Guards always did take themselves too seriously.

The man to her left, seeming to have regained his senses, raised some sort of implement at her. She had no idea what it could be, but it appeared to be made of metal and it was most likely some sort of weapon. Miah would be damned if she'd give him a chance to use it.

[Miah roll Agility (D8): 3]

[Guard roll Accuracy (D15): 5]

[Guard rolls Endurance, Target D15 (D21): 1]

[Guard Endures well. +1 to Ag, End, and Acc]

[Detriment to opponent.]

The huntres sprinted towards the man, keeping her body low. Once she had closed in, she brought her arm up in a sweeping motion, knocking the weapon aside. Now it was a simple matter of-

An explosion rang in her ears. The bang had occurred form somewhere extremely close, close enough to leave Miah's ears ringing. Dazed and disoriented, it was the best she could do to knock the man off his feet, swiping is legs out from underneath him. Once on the ground, she gave the man a swift kick to the ribs.

[ Miah is disoriented. +2 to Agility and Accuracy.]

((Pruria, you can take the other one while Miah continues to fight with this one.))

[Cool, I got my hand severed in the thing I was going to post.]

They were literally the worst rolls of all time, three critical fails in a row.

[What in God's name was that?] The pony thought when the end of the second guard's metal stick exploded; some rock chucks were blasted into the pony's hind legs; she looked at the stone wall protecting her from falling ten metres back to earth, it had a moderate sized hole in it, like what ever the metal stick done had exploded at the wall too.

Knowing she was not nearly as swift as the huntress, and at greater chance of getting injured, Pruria whirled her her bass around to playing position and quickly began playing.

Cast Melody, roll intelligence; d10: 1. Critical success; +5 to endurance, shield will last for two turns instead of one.

Guard fires; accuracy; d15: 7

Block. Difficulty; (-Bullet. +Bass already in blocking position.) requirement: 4. Roll agility; d14: 6.

Second chance:

Target: 21. Roll endurance; d11: 8.

Pruria plucked the last string of the spell and a powerful shield found itself around her. The guard pulled brought his stick back up to his eye and took aim once again. Another explosion. The pegasus reflexively raised her instrument to block what ever might have hurt her only to find a sharp pain in her foreleg. Though the shield took most of the brunt, what appeared to be a metal pellet sat half in-bedded in the pony's flesh.

Endured badly: +2 endurance, agility and accuracy.

The pony endured nonetheless and charged at the magical guard, holding her bass top heavy.

Guard fires: 1, critical success

Pruria dodges: 3

Second chance:

Target: 3. Roll endurance; d13: 12.[/i]

Another pellet was launched, Pruria does her best to dodge the expertly head-bound missile but not to total effect. The silver ball connects with her shoulder and goes right through the other end; her shield helped none whatsoever. ((I hope I did that right because of how well the dodge roll was, she wouldn't die but she's pretty much fucked now; would I be right?))

Endured very badly: +5 end (total: 7), +3 agility, accuracy (total: 5). +2 strength (total: 2)

The pony was thrown backward by the impact and her bass was relinquished of her grip. In her pain, Pruria makes one last attempt to attack her foe, in hopes of doing anything.

Guard fires: 7

Pruria hopes, roll luck; d7: 5

Pruria begun to crawl towards her bass. Another explosion, sheer luck had the projectile miss her. She reached for her instrument and grabed it with her only good forelimb, she picked herself into the air with her wings and attempted to throw the instrument, blade first. The guard took aim again.

Guard fires: 3

Pruria and G pray to the high havens: 1

The guard missed spectacularly and Pruria mustered all her strength,

Throw, roll strength; d8(+2), d10; 2. HOLY FUCK, SHE DID IT,

Using all her might, the pony managed to throw her instrument.

I forgot about this part.

Pruria's accuracy; d17: 10

Guard dodge: 12

Second chance; target 30: 10.

The bass made contact with the guard's chest; from the force of the throw, the guard was knocked from his feet and suffered minor injury. He'll need a moment, to get up. Pruria fell to the ground also, Both require one turn to get back up,

Endured decently: +2 endurance, +1 agility

[align=center]Pruria final stat:

Strength — 10d

Agility — 17d

Accuracy — 15d

Endurance — 23d

Guard final stat:

Strength D19

Agility D16

Accuracy D15

Endurance D23[/align]

I shoulda split that into sections, but it was just so tense, sorry. Miah, you have roughly one turn before the other guard gets up, armed, and Pruria too, unarmed. A least she still has booth hooves.

And please, call me G.

Meanwhile in a nearby tavern, a middle aged hermit was sitting by himself in a dark corner, quietly sipping his ale and generally keeping to himself. The tavern was filled with banter and background chatter, colored a flickering orange by the fire and the bard was playing her lute, giving the tavern a welcoming atmosphere of good will.

The tavern stood out from the rest of the town because of it's owner being from the far north, the land of frost and snow. Because of this he chose to build his business in the style of his homeland, it was an oddity among the decorated houses surrounding it, but it held a certain charm in it's simplicity. Leo turned the page on his copy of Elementals: Everything you could ever want to know about Frost magic Third edition, he was getting rather into the passage on the ice bolt spell when all of a sudden a shot rang out, it sounded nearby. All chatter in the Tavern stopped abruptly and was replaced with an eerie silence, immediately after the patrons began whispering to each other.

Another shot rang out. Against his better judgement Leo decided to go checkout whatever was making the commotion, despite just passing through this town he'd already found out about the strange magic possessing the forests beasts, and being an amateur scholar of the magic arts would love to see it first hand in order to study it.

Getting up he began to dash out the door, egar to get there before the guards killed whatever it was that was attacking.

YaY I finally join in.

Character Bio:

Name: Leo (OC, not a self insert or tulpa)

Role:

Wizard. Fights with a wooden staff.

Appearance:

He is of average height and build, dressed in a blue cloak and matching wizard hat made of cloth, the cloak extends almost down to his sandals.

Attributes: (D6 is masterful, D30 is retarded monkey, D12 is average (half and half chance)

1. strength: D20

2. Agility: D16

3. accuracy: D8

4. endurance: D14

Traits:

1. Basic Fire magic, low level fire bolt spells, immolate ect.

2. Intermediate Frost magic, ice bolt spells and area of effect cone of cold.

Note: I'm perfectly OK with this guy dying, he's more of a background character anyway. He won't talk much to other characters and will try to keep to himself, you may puppet him in my place if need be but keep this in mind and hae him say as little as possible. One more thing, he's not grumpy or resentful, just quiet. Neither is he wise or powerful, he's just there to learn.

Erm, Pruria, the rifle aren't exactly accurate due to it's being a very early model. So you don't have to increase the requirement because the in accurateness will be compensated by the speed of the bullet. So if the guard rolled 7, your requirement to dodge will be exactly 7.

And also, Miah, the guard carries a knife and his rifle is fitted with bayonet (y'know, the knife stuck to the end of the gun). So expect a melee counter from the guards.

Besides, these guard will capture you guys alive if possible, so no worry there ;)

Aigis

A bang.

"Fucking dumb-ass shooting shit."

Aigis broke the silence as the gun-fire woke Aigis up, he saw one of his drinking buddy in blue hurrying out of the tavern.

"Oi, where are you going Leo?"

There was no reply.

"Stupid unsociable wiz."

With that said, Aigis drank the last of his whisky and went back to sleep despite another 3 or 4 gun fire

Vixen

Vixen heard a gun fire to the south when she reached the north part of the western wall. She yelled into the walkie-talkie;

"HQ, do you read!?"

However, there was no response. She checked the walkie-talkie, it's battery is dead. Probably due to the fact that Aigis was drunk in the tavern for a week and didn't replace it's battery at all.

"Damnit Aigis!"

Vixen starts running toward the middle of the western wall as another couple gun fire sounded. She prepared 3 potion into her syringe gun on the way;

[Metabolizer]

[Anesthetic]

[Anesthetic]

Chloe

Chloe heard a loud bang from the west. She couldn't see anything from where she is, in the sky. But she know for sure that either Miah or Joal must have been spotted.

"Damnit NO!"

Chloe stopped herself mid-flight, hunched herself and then straighten really quickly. This cause her to be launched toward the west at almost terminal velocity.

All she think about in her head right now is "Don't die".

Oh, and this is Vixen's potion sheet

.

As her ears rang and her head swam, the guard slowly regained his composure. Somehow, without her noticing, the man had pulled a knife. In a flash, the man thrust the blade towards the ranger's thigh.

[Miah rolls Agility to catch, target is D6 (D10): 3]

[Guard rolls to Endure, target is D9 (D22): 4]

[Guard endures very well, the tough bastard. +1 to Endurance.]

[Disorientation is wearing off. -1 to Miah's Agility and Accuracy.]

Miah, however was quicker. Catching the guard's wrist, she directed the knife's point away from her leg. She then twisted the man's arm behind his back and wretched the knife away from him, letting it fell to the ground with a clatter. He yelped with pain as the speed of the movement nearly put his shoulder out of it's socket. This, however, was not enough to keep the man from bringing his elbow into Miah's stomach, causing her to lose her breath and release her hold.

Rolling with the blow, the huntress, came to a stop about three meters from her adversary with a fierce grin on her lips, her face still masked by the shadow from her cowl. It was then she heard it. One explosion. Two. Three.

Miah looked up to see the pony's instrument make contact with the other guard and the pony herself lying on the ground, bleeding.

"Damnit!", she cursed under her breath. Miah had hoped the little horse would've been able to hold her own. Now, not only would half the town be heading towards them, following the explosions, but she also had to take care of the wounded horse. This just got better and better. Now she was a little pissed.

Like an uncaged wolf, Miah growled and leapt from her crouch, speeding towards the man in her way. Scooping his knife from the ground, the huntress sped at the guard, letting loose more of a howl than a yell.

[Miah rolls Agility to Attack, effect based on roll. (D9): 3 ((Fuck yeah baby!))]

[Guard rolls Agility to dodge. Target is D6. (D15): 13 Fail]

[Guard rolls to Endure. Target is D9 (D23):7 ((Well, damn.))

[Guard barely Endures. +2 to End, Strgh, Ag.]

Coming upon upon the man like a savage animal, Miah flew blow after blow, swipe after swipe at the guard, making use of one blade in each hand. Unarmed as he was, the best the man could do was try to dodge, taking a step back with every stab and swipe. It was, however, too much for him. The huntress stabbed one knife into the man's arm as he attempted to block another blow. Blood flew from his would and the man screamed as Miah twisted the knife.

Specks of blood covered her grimace as the ranger used the blade's handle as a fulcrum, spinning the man around so that his left side was open. Lifting her leg, Miah crushed her boot into the man's ribs, launching him sideways and ripping the now bloodied knife from his arm. He screamed in agony.

As the man slammed into to the ground, Miah leapt over him. They had to get out of here. Her best bet was to help the pony with the other man as best she could and get off the damn wall.

(Assuming you would be up by now. Feel free to use Miah's help a little bit in your attacks. Remeber her main goal is currently getting off that wall and evading capture. She will attempt to carry you if she has to. If she can't... Well, she'll leave you to be captured. Just one more head to rescue in her mind. Nothing personal, she'll assure you.))
