The question ran around in her head hundreds of times. The matter is not something that can be taken lightly. Vixen looked at Chloe, Should I tell them? Should I tell them... Chloe definitely wasn't smiling. Can I trust them? Of course, but do they deserve this? Will Ta- Suddenly, the shadow coiling around Chloe's body starts to vibrate strangely. It's shape distorted rapidly, then dissipated. Shadow dissipated Chloe then groaned as she was attacked by a sudden headache. She felt like her head was splitting. Chloe regained her balance as her headache wear off. "I'm being..." Chloe hesitated as she rethink her decision. Will my friend get dragged into this? Will Taka- Another headache strikes. This time it was worse. Chloe look frightened. "That's enough." Vixen hugged Chloe and pat her head. Chloe weren't crying, but her face was expressing terror and agony. "I might tell you about this later, but not in front of Chloe. We should clean this place up before the curfew-" Suddenly, the lights went out. "What the... THE GENERATOR!" |Aigis| "Sir! please wake up!" "Shuddap, I'm sleeping here." A riflemen tried to wake Aigis up. He's a new recruit, so he doesn't know how Aigis slept at the bar everyday. Most of the people already went home due to the curfew. Aigis wasn't most of the people though, and the rifleman tried to change that. Leo finished his book on ice magic and was about to leave. He walked over to the rookie riflemen. Touched his shoulder and shake his head. The rifleman's walkie-talkie suddenly rang; [This is HQ, it's 5:55pm, prepare to seal the man gate, over] [This is north gate, Copy] [This is east gate, Copy] [This is west gate, Copy] [A'ight, I'll seal the south gate] [Excuse me, please pronounce properly over the walkie-talkie, over] [Yes sir, Copy sir] The riflemen sighed, that southern gate guy never changed. The rifleman continued to persist Aigis for about 4 more minutes. Leo watched and decided that he'd be better off leaving the two to themselves. He decided to leave. [This is HQ, seal the gate in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5-] Suddenly, everything went quiet and dark Just as Leo reached the door. "What the..." The rifleman looked outside the window, there was no light. It's a black out. Ok, I'll post the stat of all the other guard and officer and their location in the town. Most of the guard are at the wall, but some are still in the middle of the town. Although the town have some installment, it won't work without the electricity, so i'll skip. I'll leave the monster's stat to wrath. Don't just rush out of Vixen house though, she'll give some briefing on my next post. But you can just rush out if you want to make it interesting. Also, there's no light, so everything is dark. Global +4 penalty to everyone apart from Miah, the monster horde, and certain guard. And the riflemen only gets +2 penalty due to their traits. Some officer won't be effected either. Look at page 12 for the guards stat People in northern wall DSC Riflemen x 24 DSC Knight x 6 DSC knight commander -Same with knight, but -4 to agility and halves darkness penalty. Provide nearby knight with -1 to all stat bonus (Morale boost). His armor have golden shield insignia instead of the normal shield. Riflemen commander (the unicorn pony) (give her a name wrath) -Same with riflemen, but he's a pony. -2 to accuracy. No darkness penalty. Provide morale boost to riflemen like above. Her armor have a silver dragon insignia instead of the normal one. People in western wall DSC Riflemen x 18 DSC Knight x 4 DSC Knight commander DSC Riflemen Commander -He's just not a pony People in eastern wall Same with the above People in southern wall Same with the northern wall, but no pony. Also, one of the rifleman have a southern accent. People in tavern (northern west of the town) Adam Nordstrom (the rookie guard) -same with rifleman. But without helmets. He looks like Leon from resident evil. -1 to all stat since he's a talented rifleman, but he could die just as easily. Leo Aigis -He's currently drunk. So -2 to strength, +5 to agility, -2 to endurance. People in Vixen's house (west part of the town) Chloe Vixen G Pruria People in northern barrack (near northern wall) DSC rifleman x 15 DSC knight x 3 Medic x 4 Medic is just a rifleman with +2 to all stat but can heal the injury of other unit. Though they can't insta heal like Vixen, they can stop someone from dying. They have a cross instead of a dragon insignia. People in southern barrack (near southern wall) Same as northern barrack *no barrack in the west or east, since they usually relied on turrets and guns. Now they are screwed. Also, the wall have a small window on the top floor allowing rifleman to snipe most monsters. Oh and of course Miah is being a little sleepy in the forest at the west side of the town. You should find a way to come and help Chloe and your friend. The river flows from east to west and so the river on Miah's side is contaminated with some silver. So, when her opponents do those End saving rolls, could it be only x2 the opposing roll, since it is much easier to knock someone unconscious than it is to kill them. Also, Miah and I are talking about changing her hair color, so we might have that anesthetic have some unexpected side-effects.))

Wrath January 17, 2013 Author January 17, 2013 First off I like albion better. Meanwhile, out in the woods movement was stirring. Packs of warg were watching with hungry eyes, slavering jaws eager to tear into the flesh of the townspeople. Yet they waited, something was telling them to stay put for the time being, for in time they'd have their fill. The forest was eerily silent save for the cracking of branches and the odd sniff, time passed. In the darkness an unnatural shadow moved between the gaps of moonlight. Then they felt it, they had arrived, as one the wargs felt the urge to advance, an anger began to boil in their souls and the need to tear and rend flesh grew unbearable. Furious Howls rang out into the night as they frantically charged forward as one massive wave. The moon was almost entirely blocked by cloud, yet for those faint parts that were visible, one could see silhouettes zipping past in front of it. The dark entities game plan: The wargs won't be able to get inside straight away, they'll begin circling the walls and howling outside the gates. werepires (half men half bats that were mentioned before) will fly in from above using the cover of night in order to wrench the gates open, whether or not they are successful depends on the actions of the players and the guard. Normally the feral creatures wouldn't have the intelligence to work together, but the dark entity is controlling them to a finer degree then the wargs due to their close affiliation with the night. There are 13 werepires in total, and around 34 wargs prowling around outside. If they get in chances are everyone will die. Chances. There is also one wraith, a physical manifestation of shadow that the entity uses as a avatar to directly interact with the world. If it gets in it will possess one character (may be a guard or person), i'll PM who it gets if everyone is OK with this. It won't happen to later on, but if it does the character will actively work to undermine and hinder, maybe even kill other characters (you'll still have complete control of your character, you'll just be a bad guy secretly until you can be cured) Finally your character will be able to role endurance to see whether or not he/she can resist possession, if the character fails it will be possessed, it will then be able to roll int order to resist attempted murder on other party members if you decide to do that. I imagine chloe will be immune due to shadows, and vixen and aegis will have encountered the wraith before. Warg stats: Attributes: Strength — 8d Agility — 7d Accuracy — 14d Endurance — 10d Charisma — 999d Intelligence — 999d Luck — 80d Traits: Maul: the warg will inflict bleeding upon it's victim with its claws and teeth. Roles strength. pounce: The warg will leap at it's prey and proceed in mauling them if it is successful. Roles accuracy (note you can role to have your character jump out of the way, if you role lower then the warg gets in accuracy then you are successful. Werepire stats: Attributes: Strength — 9d Agility — 5d Accuracy — 11d Endurance — 11d Charisma — 999d Intelligence — 20d Luck — 80d Traits: Bite: Werepires carry various forms of blood diseases from the carrion (dead flesh and roadkill, they're like vultures) as well as the few live prey unlucky enough top fall victim, needless to say their bite is poisonous. Screech: The Werepire will let loose a terrible screech that will severally disorientate anyone withing 4 meters and cause pain to anyone within 15. It's like a flash bang without the bang or flash. Those afflicted will gain +4 accuracy and +1 agility for two actions. Note: Their main focus will be the gates. Wraith stats: Endurance — 8d Traits: Possess: Rolls endurance in order to possess somebody. If you get possessed, please try and keep it a secret, act natural and try to manipulate other players into difficult or even lethal situations, do not give other people hints, they can decide for themselves through your dangerous decision making/ knife into the chest. There will also be no immediate physical changes that will alert people, but 3 days into possession, dark patches will begin to appear around the body. Otherwise the character will appear completely normal both physically and mentally. Eventually after a week, if it gets to that point (and it probably won't, at l;east I hope not as that will be tedious) the characters eye's will turn black. If you really don't want your character to be possessed, tell me and I'll pick someone else. Is everyone ok with this?
