((Hmmm, interesting with the vampires. I didn't expect it to be only detrimental though. I thought it would be a sort of risk/reward thing. As in, sure you have to suck the blood of other human beings, but it enhances some attributes.

I'll be trying to keep up with the post, but I'm going to a convention this weekend, so I will slow down. Just a word of warning. I'll try and post some time around four hours from now. Don't hold me to that, however.))

Wall, I'm cool.] The pony took one more sip of her wine before G snatched it from her and gave her a look—gone unseen due to the light. Chloe— understandably—claimed company of her her Aunt, which left Joal and her partner.

 

''Wait, neither of us have ranged weapons, the best we can do is support.''

 

[Wait, I have a bass, I can range.]

 

''Keep practising your battle licks; until then we wont be very helpful until the things get up on the walls, and I don't think any amount of help is going to make a difference then.''

[[What are you talking about, it has plenty of rewards. natural bonus to strength and agility that increases as time goes on with a negation to intelligence.

 

Still though, I'd say the frequency that you have to feed is still to much of a risk for somebody with a solitary lifestyle]]

Vixen took a revolver from the cupboard, and show it to G;

 

"It's just like the rifle the guards are using, just shorter. First, you press this button near the trigger and the cylinder will pop out. Insert bullets into one of the six chamber and push the cylinder back in. Then pull the hammer on the back of the gun. Finally, point THEN shoot. Do NOT shoot then point. Obviously, you can fire 6 times before having to reload again."

 

Vixen explain a cram lesson on using the revolver, she then held it out to G and said;

 

"Wanna use it? The silver bullet is devastating against Werepires and Wargs."

G looked at the weapon; he heard a sense of urgency in Vixen's voice. He reached out to it relatively slowly, taking a glance at Pruria before making his decision—who closed her eyes and and gave a single nod yes; who thought [no, no, no, no]—and finally grabbing the thing.

 

[Common, G.] The pony said, hoping to move away from to object in anyway possible. It was strangely shaped, or rather, perfectly shaped, for the man's hand. And it was cold, due to the metal, but most of all: it was heavy, for what a small thing it was.

 

''Okay...''

[Right, let's go!] Repeated the pegasus, grabbing her bass.

''Good luck girls, I think we are all going to need some...'' G packed the gun into his satchel and left with the pony towards the east wall.

 

[i admit, I'm scared.]

''Well think about what this thing did to you; from how you described it, and with how ware wolfs react to silver, I think we'll be okay.''

[i hope...]

 

The two reached the turret and gained access—through sight of Vixen's personal pistol—; the wall was badly manned, bar the occasional inoperable turret. The DSC Rifleman commander approached the two and saluted; to be saluted by the two; ''Your service is highly appreciated, I want you to stay near the right most turret; from what I heard—and that's very little—I assume neither of you can handle a rifle, so I want you to offer support at any time possible, don't be reluctant.''

''Yes Sir.''

[Yes Sir-ee!]

 

At their posts, G became very cold, his body used to warm fires and not standing still in the face of a city battle; Joal was normaly unaffected by the cold, but the cold seemed evil, and penetrated the pony's thick coat. Pruria looked out into the forest, her eyes providing better perception of the trees than most others on the wall, less the snipers and their scopes, ''What do you see?''

[A lot of things...]

''Like?''

[Not dogs, shadows. Little eyes; stars; beads; you name it. Nothing much, really.] The pony leaned both forelegs on the head of her bass and squinted,

''Are they coming?''

[No... they're waiting...]

''Are they that smart?''

[No.] The ponies final words sent shivers into the man, though he tried not to show it,

 

''Well, I thought this would be a little redundant—because I'm sure you already know it—but: if we don't make it out of this alive, I love you.''

[Love you too.]

Wrath, it's all you. Or if you want to post pre-battle, Miah. That bit at the end seemed a little necessary, considering the circumstances; I've kept from it just in case you guys want to stay clear of it, and will continue doing so if asked.

Btw

1. The silver revolver have to be reloaded every six shot. And you know how revolver reloads. Just roll accuracy to maybe 14? To reload.

 

2. The silver bullet from Vixen's pistol will fragment inside the monster. +6 to target's end for that and 4 for any contextual penalty (e.g shooting legs lower agi)

 

3. The guards have buffs against monster.

 

4. I need wrath to decide Leo's and the rookie guard adam's course of action first before I go to the tavern.

I'm cool with that. And Wrath will also have to initiate the fight.

I forgot to mention that the guard will not attack Miah on sight. Although they will retaliate if attacked, they will still try to talk it out with Miah.
