Right, this will take a while. For the west wall, their rifleman commander is sick, and the were caught off guard (one less turn to wall); to give the poor doggies a better chance. And I'm not useing the silver weapon perk, it's so OP.

yea, when I first envisioned the town it was manned by militia with makeshift/out of date weaponry, not a trained fighting force. Also poor G, having to do all the work.

Also I though there were two werepires attacking the west wall, I can't find the post detailing what happened to the west wall. I would do one of them but I can't work out whats going on where ect.

Above the clouds, a werepire hovered and watched the slaughter of it's kin with pure apathy, it's quiet wing beats the only indication it was there in the pitch blackness of cloud cover.

 

It's eye's scanned the town searching for suitable prey, when at last it beheld a group of people exiting a tavern. It's wings cut through the air silently as it dived towards them, it's form was practically invisible. traveling at great speed, it angled it's body so that it's talons were pointing towards it's prey, legs rigidly straight.

 

This creature had no sense of self-preservation, it only strode to inflict maximum damage upon it's foe. Angled at 40 degrees to the ground, it made some last second flight adjustments in order to collide with the women with black hair (vixen):

The werepires aim is dead on the side of vixens chest, it's coming from the side of the characters, parallel with the taverns wall. I'll leave it here in case you think somebody should have spotted it in the nick of time, if you do you'll have to roll something lower then 2 in order to successfully dodge.

Also, the town is constantly attacked, of course the people's gonna be op. though the silver weapon could be "toned down" a little.

And remember, vixen always kept one insta heal med to herself, and she also have a trick up her sleeves.

Then a whistle, and a thump. An arrow had driven itself into the side of the werepire's neck. Stunned by pain and the force of the arrow, the beast was driven off path and crashed into the ground besides the group, tossing up dirt and bits of the road as it slid.

 

The ranger smirked from atop the roof. It had not been too hard to gain access to the town this time. The monster's timely attack had proven more than enough of a distraction. Now she found herself only yards from her prey.

 

However, it was not the time to strike. The black haired woman was surrounded by allies, along with her companions from before. They had been armed, so it was safe to assume they were no longer prisoners which was all the better for Miah. Now that she no longer had to deal with a rescue mission she could concentrate solely on her own game, and she would be damned if some overgrown, flying rodent was going to steal the prize from her. The huntress would wait until she could catch the Medicine Woman alone, then she would strike.

 

For now, however, she had some work to be done.

With the speed and grace of a fox, the woman ran off along the roof tops, leaping from one to the next, her long cape and now pale hair glinting in the moonlight. As she ran off, a ominous, excited laugh cut through the cool night air accompanying the "tip tap" of the hunter running atop the shingles.

Vixen comes out of the tavern, hoping that she'd be able to assist the poorly manned west wall in time. Sure, they are well trained, but these guys relied on Aigis's invention quite a lot, will they be able to withstand a worst case scenario like this?

 

As Vixen waited for the others in the tavern, she deftly created a [Metabolizer] and an [Accuracy Enhancer]. Some of the riflemen will need a boost.

The alchemist looks up to the sky. Something is really bugging her, where have she seen this kind of cloud before? This black familiar cloud that seemingly absorbs all light.

Aigis yelled, Vixen then noticed a Werepire out of nowhere. Its doing a dive tackle aimed straight at her.

Vixen tried to jump to the side, but she slipped and fell instead. The Werepire increases it's speed for maximum damage as Vixen decides her next course of action. Should I do it?

Vixen clenched her fist and a fire embraced her hand. But for some reason, the Werepire's neck jerked to the side and it fell past her. Never missing a beat, she instantly curled the fire around her hand and threw it at the downed Werepire. Leo, who saw Vixen's fire thought to himself;

 

That's not magic... What's the meaning of this?

The werepire is quick to recover, and immediately jumped to the side. It should have chosen to jump to the other side though, for Aigis's boot went for it's face.

The Werepire let out a screech, Vixen saw what it tried to do and covered her ears in time, but it wasn't enough as the screech pierced through her hand. The same couldn't be said for Chloe and Adam, since Chloe is still oblivious to the situation at hand while Adam loses his helmets long ago.

Aigis, instead of being dazed, kicked the Werepire right in the middle of it's screeches. It's not a simple kick though, Aigis activated [Force module] creating shockwave that went straight through the Werepire. The winged beast never thought someone could withstood it's screech at point blank range, and therefore was not prepared to react to the attack at all.

Aigis easily parried the Werepire's attempt to bite him, he tried to daze the monster with his elbow but it ducked swiftly. It went for another bite, and Aigis parried again.

 

"Time to end this."

 

Aigis fire his revolver at the Werepire's forehead. Somehow, it dodged in time.

 

"Fast bastard!"

Chloe's ear is still ringing from the screech, however, her shadow doesn't have ears. She commanded a part of her armor to go attack the shadow independently. The shadow impales the Werepire with 2 shadow spike, one didn't pierce it's skin and bounced back to Chloe, while the other spike went through and held the Werepire still. The engineer saw Chloe unsheathe her long glaive. He's pretty sure that if he don't back away, he too will be cut down.

The Werepire broke free, but the shadow bought Chloe enough time to bisect the body of the monster into two. She swing her naginata with all her might, and the blades cleanly cuts through the Werepire from it's head to it's groin like a hot knife through butter. The blood splatters messily but the shadow prevented them from reaching Chloe.

 

"Are ya deaf?!?"

 

Adam yelled at Aigis, the ringing in his ears starting to go away.

 

"Headphones."

 

Aigis answered as he loaded a bullet into his pistol. And said to Chloe:

 

"Not bad Chloe, not bad at all. I'm glad you weren't trying to kill me back there."

 

"Hehe~" The girl, giggled, despite the fact that she had just killed a monster brutally.

 

"I'll be helping the west wall now, get the generator fixed ASAP Aigis."

Vixen said as she rushes toward the west wall.

 

"Roger. Hey, riflemen, come with me. Leo, do whatever you want man."

 

Adam didn't say anything and followed Aigis while shaking his head trying to get the ringing noise out. Chloe looked up to the sky and said to herself;

 

"Why does the cloud look just like my shadow...?"
