Guest December 18, 2018 December 18, 2018 It was done with two new pencils (cause i used up the eraser entirely on one) on a 8.5 x 11 in blank sheet. I nearly fell off the bottom; planning was intense. Yes, we're playing monopoly and talking while we wait for dinner. [Hidden] The Hors d'oeuvres are macaroons of various flavors and plain crackers layered with cream cheese to go with the caviar. The drinks are 10yr + Dom. Everything is chilled so dig in after the picture is taken. There are only 12 glasses because there are less than that many of drinking age (21). The worst was drawing Jean-Luc because i know his face way too well and i couldn't make it 'anime' without looking like an alien. I spent so much time on that one to make the proportions right that the camera actually kept thinking it was a real face. My favorite to draw was Damien. Akai face turned out so well for me, i liked her best. Misha cried when i finished hers because she thought it was so darling, and i was laughing, so that was a really fun emotional mix. It took me 20-25 hours over 8 days. Just the darkening took about 7 hours. The camera was a real pain in the behind because it was so big, it wasn't capturing everything in focus. I had to redo Ashley's face digitally because i couldn't get the dang camera to get her face right, there was a depression in the page from erasing one too many times. In editing, aside from Ashley's face, i had to clean up a few other faces and eyes because the camera refused to capture the pupils, or sometimes the lines pop in super dark. I had to adjust the scale of Xar/Mitsi x 10% same with Lumi/Flandre. I digitally downsized it 50% so some pf the details got muddy, but it looked fine. I had to add the date/signature digitally cause i forgot. I spent 4 hours post processing. I also tried to get it down to under 500k, but then i couldn't read anything. [/hidden] Thank you all for your kind words, i know i would have never done any of the artwork i do without your support. I very much look forward to drawing more of these with those I've already drawn, and systems like Felight, Verga, Ember-Vesper, solarchariot, i have more than enough reference material for those right now, if they would want me to. I will shy away from more than a dozen people from now on, it was necessary small-ish, so getting the finer details to get picked up by my phone's camera is difficult. Sadly a 50+ user mega drawing is not possible atm. Valentine's day is just around the corner, then there's Easter. It was such a rush, but then i think, there's no way anyone is going to like it!
