So you wouldn't have to write about everyday things? I'd always heard that using a character from a story(even one you wrote) was bad. My idea of a story involving a Tulpa would be more like what my day was like or what I wanted to do on a weekend. The only characters being myself, the Tulpa, and any real people I would naturally contact.

Using a character from a story to develop a tulpa can be bad, if you let it be. But this is different. I didn't write my tulpas as characters, I gave my characters so much thought they BECAME tulpae. In fact, so far they're filling in missing details for me.

Has anyone had difficulties with the character coming from a story set in a different time period/world? I've written stories and have developed characters that I think would just feel so far out of place here and now.
