curiousity January 21, 2013 January 21, 2013 So you wouldn't have to write about everyday things? I'd always heard that using a character from a story(even one you wrote) was bad. My idea of a story involving a Tulpa would be more like what my day was like or what I wanted to do on a weekend. The only characters being myself, the Tulpa, and any real people I would naturally contact.
Riku Aotsuki January 21, 2013 Author January 21, 2013 Using a character from a story to develop a tulpa can be bad, if you let it be. But this is different. I didn't write my tulpas as characters, I gave my characters so much thought they BECAME tulpae. In fact, so far they're filling in missing details for me.
curiousity January 21, 2013 January 21, 2013 Has anyone had difficulties with the character coming from a story set in a different time period/world? I've written stories and have developed characters that I think would just feel so far out of place here and now.

Riku Aotsuki January 21, 2013 Author January 21, 2013 The majority of mine ARE from a different world. As it happens, I'm also making that my wonderland.
MisterTelecaster January 27, 2013 January 27, 2013 Well, it's partially how I got my tulpa Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.
