1) I tend to get motion sickness while trying this. Would you advise stopping?

2) How am I supposed to make sure I finish forcing by the time I get to my stop without constantly distracting myself with how much time has passed?

Tulpa:

Name: Elyse (Elly)

Birthday: 29th May, 2012

Physical description: 5"8 thin human girl. self-identified age 18. ~1ft, vivid red hair sometimes in a ponytail. light-skinned. green eyes.

Progress: entirely vocal, speaks often, but only 1 hallucination; her saying "Hiiii". Great at possession.

I can. It's a long bus ride(40-60 minutes each way). It's do-able, I can fight through motion sickness though obviously it'd be very uncomfortable, and there might be side effects i dont know of, for example the brain associating Elly with illness.

IF it's okay, though, it'd be the perfect(by which i mean "only") time to force on those days

How about you instead just narrate while keeping your focus on the road so you don't get sick.

give her wings and make her fly alongside the bus. If you're into imposition that is.

And also, nothing would happen to your tulpa unless you believe it would. Just force away, unless your tulpa herself doesn't like being force on the bus.

Also, I don't think you could "finish" forcing. You can force as long/as short as you want. Though it's better to keep most session longer than 10-15 minutes.

Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail.

Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR.

Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.

If you're getting seriously motion sick, then that's obviously going to be a major obstacle. When you say you can "fight through" it, that makes me think that it'd be severely counter-productive. Of course, that's up to you. Maybe it is that you can focus properly, and there are unlikely to be significant side effects other than loss of concentration. If you can focus properly with motion sickness then that's fine. Otherwise, if it detracts from your concentration in a significant way then it's not worth it.

Of course, I don't know what you mean exactly by "forcing" here, though I would guess visualisation of a sort. You could, as Sands said, switch down to narration, which I doubt would cause motion sickness. Alternatively, you could do something else that doesn't require visualisation (I'm just guessing that visualisation is causing the motion sickness in your case).

If you're worried about missing your stop for being too engrossed, then set a timer or something on your phone for 30 or 40 minutes. If it's about doing a 'full' session, don't worry. As long as you spend a decent amount of time forcing, it shouldn't be a problem, and you can come back at any point as long as you remember what you were last doing.

I find it odd that this is your only time available, though I suppose it's not that unbelievable. I'm sure you could spare 20 minutes before bed or something at least.

I was under the impression that the best, most effective way to active force is to initiate each session and close off each session with a specific greeting/goodbye making/breaking the connection to the undeveloped tulpa?

You could try open eye forcing, either imagining her in an empty seat near you, or imagine your wonderland with your eyes open. Either way it should help with the motion sickness, and you'd be getting cues as to when you're nearing your stop.

Another way to tell when you're getting close is some sort of timer. For instance, set up a 40 minute playlist on an MP3 player. When it finishes, stop forcing and start paying attention.

Lyra: human female, ~17

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her

Depends how bad it is. If he keeps staring at somewhere and doesn't see the road, he could still get the sick feeling so visualizing is out, even if you keep your eyes open. I know I have to keep my eyes on the road or I will feel really sick, doesn't even help if I can see the road in my peripheral vision.
