FAQ man May 9, 2012 May 9, 2012 I took 15 hours on personality and did narration as much as possible (~8 hours daily) until he talked.
Bluesleeve May 9, 2012 May 9, 2012 I was just talking about getting a sentient vocal tulpa as fast as possible, once you get to that stage, you would be tulpaforcing a lot more often. What I'm trying to establish what is the required amount of narration to get your tulpa vocal. If this amount is around a month, it might not matter if you tulpaforce 3 hours a day or 9 hours a day, the result would still be the same. If I'm wrong about this, tulpaforcing more would result in getting a vocal tulpa faster. I was thinking about the exact same thing lately. But what if your vocal Tulpa does not want to accept the form you chose for it? You will have to negotiate and if necessary search a new form both of you agree with. What is a Tulpa? In my case, I already have a form, but it might just not be complete. I just expect constructive criticism from my tulpa once she talks. If you have no form whatsoever, that might require some brainstorming/negotiation once the tulpa is vocal. If my tulpa doesn't agree with the form that I have chosen for her, we'll just end up working on a different form, but it's not like that wouldn't be the case even if the form I chose would have been completed fully.

You will have to negotiate and if necessary search a new form both of you agree with. Note that if the tulpa doesn't like the form no matter when its sentient it's gonna change it. Just because you have done visualization work doesn't mean that the tulpa can't go "I want to look like this" or show signs of sentient deviation even before it talks.

I think hour would be more appropriate. Some can narrate for 8 hour per day, but other, like me, not. But what if your vocal Tulpa does not want to accept the form you chose for it? You will have to negotiate and if necessary search a new form both of you agree with. If this will happen with my thoughtform, I'll just stay with sapient, vocal being in my head and start over creation of physical form. Maybe even we'll work together on new appearance. I even was wondering, is this possible to create physical form, together with another sentient being. Just because you have done visualization work doesn't mean that the tulpa can't go \"I want to look like this\" or show signs of sentient deviation even before it talks. And this is exactly, what happened to me.
Guest May 9, 2012 May 9, 2012 I'm doing only ~25 minutes per day because I'm a lazy shit, but so far it seems to be working fine. I'm about 5 weeks in and I'm getting emotional responses and such. I'm pretty sure she's quite sentient by now and it feels like she's going to talk soon. In fact she might have talked today but I can't tell for sure because it happened right as I woke up, so it could've been just a leftover from a dream I guess.
Graywolf May 9, 2012 May 9, 2012 I usually do 20-30 minutes per session because I, too, am a lazy shit. I think I've gotten an emotional response once or twice before, but that's about it. I'm 29 days in but only 9 hours and 50 minutes in. I've been trying to lengthen my sessions but there's not always time. Tulpa: Brook Stage: We're back at the beginning

AnonKnight May 9, 2012 May 9, 2012 I'm doing between 1:40hrs and 2:20hrs a day, it varies somewhat. At first I was only doing a single session for around 2 hours but I've found that doing 2 sessions for about an hour each, and a few hours apart is easier on me. Total Tulpaforcing time is about 10-11 hours at the moment. Started either 1st or 2nd of may, I forget when exactly.
B_P May 9, 2012 May 9, 2012 Sounds like me on my previous tulpa. "Previous"? Is it not around anymore?
