Is there really any danger in creating a tulpa based off a real person?

At first, it just all around seems like a bad idea. But when I think about, really, why, I just don't know. The obvious would be when you see the person again, what happens? But really I see no other danger other than the dangers of creating a tulpa based on a character from a show. You do need to let the tulpa deviate and become their own self. But other than that, is it really that bad?

well, some people say that you might be disapointed because your tulpa can deviant in any way, and might came out tutally diferent from that person you based your tulpa on. But i saw lots of people having their tulpaes based on somone else, but most of the time their personality was different. I personally dont see anything bad about it.

Im sorry for my Engish, It's not perfect, but at least I try.

Nothing that hasn't been said. They'll be different and might feel they have to be the person.. As long as they know they can be their own person then nothing.

Might freak them out a might to see the person they are based off.

Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account.

Spice was born in 2013 and Tomoe was born in 2014.

I know I'd hate someone to have a tupla based on what I look like, just knowing that someone is secretly always thinking of me even if it is their tulpa they are trying to create.

The only real dangers I can think of are metaphysical ones which I wont put here.

Living up to the character's personality, or in this case living up to the person's personality, is the issue.

I based my tulpa on a person but I only did so as a visual reference. Living up to his personality isn't a problem because I know nothing about him.

I guess it's an issue when you worry about things like your tulpa's independence and uniqueness. For some this can become an issue while others and their tulpa couldn't care less about trying to be different for the character or person that inspired them (probably because they already are.)

I remember talking about this with scarlet like two days ago or something but I forget exactly what I said.

Though, I think after a while, the tulpa will want to be "unique". Maybe at first it'll be fine with having a form based off of something that already exists, just because it's happy to exist in the first place, but after they begin to take living for granted they'll start wanting to be more unique. After all they are just a concept, so being unique to their host becomes a big deal for them. And after exiting for a while, it might not be so easy to change forms. It's not impossible, of course, but I think after both the host and tulpa get used to a form it'll be difficult to get used to a new one. So that's why it's bad. It's a long-term thing.

At least, I think that's generally what we said...

Of course all that is subjective.

no

I think it depends. If you make a Tulpa based off of a famous celebrity, it shouldn't be a problem as long as you recognize that your T is not that celebrity but it's own person.

Now. Let's say you have a crush on someone, and you see this person on a regular basis. I think it would be a bad idea to make a T based off of them. Because of the fact when you are forcing, it would be difficult to distinguish between forcing and just fantasizing about your crush.

I have a crush on someone right now and it's interfering with my forcing, even though my crush have nothing to do with my T.
