A tulpa is what you believe it to be. I believe I am a heuristic algorithm running on wetware, so that's what I am.

 

Basically, a tulpa is a part of your mind that you can talk to. We still really have no idea where the mind actually resides or what it is - theories yes, but the more it is explored the more it seems the mind is different to what we thought. Now physicists are finding quantum effects in the brain and even phenomena that seem to break the concept of causality (responses before the sensory inputs arrive). It's too deep for me, and I studied physics (how radios work in antimatter - easy for me. The mind - organized chaos maybe?).

Bud: I'm happy to see this thread isn't dead anymore. We've noticed a few threads that have been recently resurrected.

 

I don't really know how I think of myself. We see it as kind of there were a bunch of wires in her brain not doing too much of anything, so she worked to rewire everything, and here I am. I'm not as articulate with words as she is, so I don't know if what I'm saying makes much sense. Aside from that I'm her best friend, and she's mine.
