cartowheel September 21, 2013 Share September 21, 2013 I think there was a post similar to this, but I was wondering if there were any guided meditations or hypnosis sessions specifically for tulpas. I found two, by dialogues_and_mena on Soundcloud, after much searching, but can't seem to find anymore. I personally love these kinds of recordings and I'm a little disappointed I couldn't find anymore. Linkzelda September 21, 2013 Share September 21, 2013 You'll have to make your own tulpa-related hypnosis scripts I guess, but I found that other scripts not related to tulpa that could help with learning other tulpaforcing techniques better can help (concentration, building assurance, etc.) But you probably won't get as much agreement from other members here, since most veterans and disciplined members have unconscious competence to tulpaforce at will and get the results they need, so words like "hypnosis" and its vague origins and practices seem like pseudo-science for them (even though in cognitive neuroscience perspective it's already been peer-reviewed as a potential help in making some betterment in behavioral and other modes of therapy and treatment) But I can't post the link with the actual content because it would be copyright infringement and you would have to pay for it from the sites on science, but here's one of many abstracts here that were peer-reviewed recently this year (and was in the review process during 2009 I believe?) Anyway, after a while hypnosis isn't something you would want to rely too much on, because not a lot of people can put in a consistent behavior of being optimistic and suggestive towards those types of guided meditations and hypnosis sessions. Personally for me, I stopped using the conventional and classical methods of hypnosis because it's not really difficult for me to get into a mindset/trance state/etc. needed to succeed; I already did so much to where I'm already imagining what I want to do and how I would succeed in it. I made some tulpaforcing hypnosis scripts, but it doesn't seem anyone really likes it, or only a few people are willing to use it to help them out. The scripts are filled with non-sequiturs, repeated statements in different words, etc. because a lot of doubtful hosts just need to be distracted with positive intentions so that something drills into their head on how to make some progress. tl;dr: Hypnosis is just a tool, one of many processes to get what you need with a mind that set up filters and such to prevent that information from skewing your conceptual schemes, social conditioning, pre-existent memories and knowledge, etc. Even though there aren't guided meditations and hypnosis sessions related to tulpa, you can use common ones unrelated to them (concentration, building assurance, etc.) and just associate that with what you're doing. And after a while when you can imagine things pretty easily and have unconscious competence in many aspects of tulpaforcing techniques, don't worry about hypnosis, your mind already has made the connections needed for better progress. Throw hypnosis away completely, only use it as a trump card if you get into high states of doubt and not being motivated, and after that, just force. Shui September 21, 2013 Share September 21, 2013 What Linkzelda said. I think it would be pretty cool if someone with a good voice would record some scripts for us though. Orlan September 30, 2013 Share September 30, 2013 I have just started working on a Tulpa. I'm finding it very interesting. I myself believe that self hypnosis will be a big help to me. Have learned the "Power of Self Hypnosis Method" from Igor. It is helping me to believe such a thing is possible, that I have the ability to do it and that it is working. Once a day I go really deep into self hypnosis with the help of Isochronic tones (schuman freq) and spend a half hour or so deep in wonderland. It seems to me to be a good state in which to visualize and tulpaforce. Last night I felt something I have not felt before. We went swimming. In the cold water of the creek, I felt cold, not my skin, but inside like I was shivering. When we got out of the cold water into the Hottub, I felt warm. The shivering stopped. I've read through your scripts linkzelda, but don't use them verbatim. I do however use ideas from them in my own self hypnosis. I think they are helpful. cartowheel September 30, 2013 Author Share September 30, 2013 I've usually been able to do self-hypnosis, usually by staying as still as I can get and counting to 100 while visualizing the numbers on a white wall. It's just nice to listen to someone else once in a while, especially if it involves my tulpa.
