Admittedly, I skimmed through parts of this thread since there's a bunch of posts.

 

I second what's been said about not making a tulpa based on a fictional character if you want a clone of that character. There's a myth (maybe not propagated anymore?) that it's harmful to base a tulpa on a character. In reality, what's harmful is basing a tulpa on a character, finding out that's a Bad Thing To Do, and internalizing that while they're still developing. With tulpamancy, belief makes it real. If you believe something will harm your tulpa, chances are, it will, especially if they're young.

 

That said, there is a very real risk you will end up disappointed and frustrated if you expect your tulpa to be a certain way, whether based on a character or not. Deviation is not only natural but inevitable—are you the same person you were five, ten, fifteen years ago? Someone who's only recently come into existence is even more prone to change as life experience begins to shape them.

 

My suggestion is to use Kris' appearance and personality as a starting point but understand the tulpa is not "a version of Kris" but "a tulpa inspired by Kris" who may end up becoming someone completely different.

 

Moving on to visualization, it's really an "extra" skill (as in, it isn't fundamental). My mental images aren't particularly clear or detailed most of the time. I visualize in third person. We don't even have a proper wonderland these days, and we often interact with just mindvoice (and maybe some degree of body-sharing if we're playing a game or something) because it's simpler. None of this has ever caused us issues, and I've been at this for years.
