I did NOT see that one coming. At. All.

 

I realize I won't be sharing every single detail that happens between Raid and me, so I won't elaborate, but I'll just say that I once told Raid to surprise me. Surprise me at that moment, or surprise me eventually, I just told her to surprise me. But....this. I was NOT expecting this. To say that I am thoroughly surprised would be an understatement.

 

Anywho, Raid seems able to centralize the head pressure in one part of my head now, instead of just using both sides at once. Took her a while, and probably a bit of effort, too, but I'm proud of her.

You don't have to worry about Raid dying, Quad. Claire is still around, even after all that has happened. Tulpas are made of tougher stuff then us.

 

I'm glad. I felt a sense of happiness when I saw that her next state of progress was resuscitation.

Yes. I told Raid to surprise me. It's the surprise itself which now makes me take the whole tulpaforcing thing a lot more seriously.

So I was taking a shower, until I suddenly started singing to the FFI Town theme, and I happened to come up with these lyrics on the spot. It's cheesy, but it still felt good to sing it. Let's hope I didn't forget all the lyrics.

Far less cheesy that Claire's first words. Thinking about how pleased I was to share them a year ago makes me cringe.

So, I asked Raid how she felt about me, and to share her emotions with me. The familiar feeling of wanting to cry tears of joy was briefly felt, and then I materialized my body within the wonderland, and, again, asked her to tell me how she felt. Then, in the back of my mind, I heard a very faint, yet noticable "I already told you!" And then she gave me affection.

 

I later asked her if that really was her who said that, and she confirmed it.

 

So, vocality seems to be well on it's way.

Sometimes I like to force a boombox-of-sorts into the Wonderland, and play some random, heartwarming music as Raid and I share affection. It's just as campy and cheesy as so many things I've done and said to her, but it's still heartwarming.

 

I just found the Final Boss Music for Dark Souls, you know, against Gwyn? It's a really somber piano piece, and I was thinking of playing it as I Affectionated (yes, that's a word now) with Raid.

 

In fact....why don't we go do that now?

I've listened to that song through a lot of hardship so I don't really understand how it works for affectionating. Eh, reminds me I should dig the sheet music I have for it out and practice it over Christmas.
