Guest Anonymous October 23, 2013 October 23, 2013 Studies seem to show that 45%~60% of kids have or have had imaginary friends, and I'm curious to see how this statistics are represented in the tulpa community, and how many of you kept them until tulpa-state. Share your experiences regarding imaginary friends that were not tulpas.
Yori October 23, 2013 October 23, 2013 I don't recall having any imaginary friends... hmm. My lip hurts.
Sands October 23, 2013 October 23, 2013 Told you already, but I guess I can write it here too. I never had one. The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
Guest MegaBusta October 23, 2013 October 23, 2013 I do vaguely remember having a imaginary friend, but they arent my tulaps.
Pentium October 23, 2013 October 23, 2013 Hmm, I wonder how the test defined imaginary friends. I do doubt that as much as 60% of the population has had imaginary friends that we would consider under the term of an "imaginary friend"(which I would assume is to talk back when talked to, at least once). Intel never had one, but god knows he tried. It was fun, but now I am his. I will not answer the poll because I was never a child. "Wow you dont know shit about anything, do you?" -intelhunter
Maelstrom October 23, 2013 October 23, 2013 I did a lot of roleplay as a kid, and I grew up with a sister who is one year younger than me. If I had an imaginary friend, it was probably never longer than a few days. Not sure where that would leave me. (So I had imaginary friends, but they were never a long term thing and none of them relate to Celia in any way I know of.)
Azure October 23, 2013 October 23, 2013 I had many imaginary friends when I was younger, but they wouldn't last very long. Then, for some reason, one of them stayed far longer than the others, and he begun to answer back to my questions with unexpected answers. So yeah, one of my tulpas was an imaginary friend.
glitchthe3rd October 23, 2013 October 23, 2013 I had one when I was like... four, but ended up getting rid of him eventually. He's long gone by now. "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report
Myak October 24, 2013 October 24, 2013 Nope. I used to pretend I had imaginary friends, though, because I was jealous of other kids.
