Are you telling me that when you were a baby you didn't like to put things, like a pacifier, in your mouth? Weren't you pissed off when you had to hold it in until you could reach a toilet? Didn't you play with your penis in the bathtub like it was some toy or some shit? You probably saw the head as a face or something. Didn't you have a time period where you didn't think girls had cuties, but at the same time you didn't really care much for them? Freud's stages clearly happen, but the flaw in them surrounds how much they dictate anyone's life. According to him, if I never learned to hold it in to go potty as a kid, then everything else about me is sure to be messy and disorganized from then on. You have to understand the time differences; this was a plausible theory back in his day. Nowadays you don't see too many fathers saying that they'll rip their son's dick off. Since the father's don't use it as a threat anymore, the children don't learn to fear it, and Freud's castration anxiety doesn't appear. Since, you know, all fear is learned. I wasn't concerned about losing my penis or left arm at age 5.
