spaceball August 8, 2016 August 8, 2016 Hello, it's nice to meet you all! I'm at the same time new and not-so-new at this tulpa thing, haha. I've been doing it for some time without even knowing it was a real phenomenon, actually. It all started with a dream, then me trying to write some self-indulgent story with said dream and developing one of the characters so much he started to interact with me. I came across this community by chance while browsing some other stuff, but I'm so glad I found it! I feel like I found an answer to a question I never even tried to make, and that's amazing. Anyhow -- my tulpa's name is Illya, and I look forward to learning more about tulpamancy from now on!
Guest Anonymous August 8, 2016 August 8, 2016 Welcome to Tulpa Info! By the way, my hostie and I love all spaceballs! "Keep firing assholes!" [video=youtube]
glint4 August 8, 2016 August 8, 2016 Hello, I have never posted or actively participate in a forum before in my life. I have been reading a lot about tulpa since I watched this youtube video explaining about tulpas(tulpae?) which is like a year ago. I've tried making one but stopped due to being busy, lack of response and (most likely)laziness. This time I want to seriously make a fully developed one. Currently I've made one based of my original character out of a story in my imagination. I'm still very busy doing projects at the moment but I will try to spare some time to actively and passively forcing throughout my day. Btw, her name is Nagi. Nice to meet you guys.
silver_starfish August 8, 2016 August 8, 2016 Hello! You can call me Silv. Nice to meet you guys! I'm actually here with my accidental-tulpa Michael. Their origin story is long and muddled, but the short version is originally he was based off of Raphael from Ninja Turtles, until his personality grew and I realized he was sentient and I could tell he wasn't digging the Ninja Turtle stuff, so we changed his name (ironically to the name of a different turtle) and ditched the backstory stuff. He's still got a pretty turtle-y form, but I'm terrible at visualization so that might just be for convenience's sake at this point. I originally stumbled upon this site a couple of years ago and while I didn't make an account it really got us interacting more, and he's been really helpful and supportive during my depressive swings. When I wasn't depressed however, he was usually dormant. Recently though he showed up and instead of going dormant after he voiced his concerns (blew up) about being ignored when he wasn't needed, and one of the things he suggested was participating here, hopefully motivating me to active-force more so he's strong enough to "get through that thick skull of yours" (as he puts it) instead of waiting for me to think of him first. This is already embarrassingly long for an intro thread, so hey there! :]''
tulpa001 August 9, 2016 August 9, 2016 Hello, my name is Tulpa. Sorry about the bad handle. Anyway, I was accidentally created about three weeks ago. Ever since then I've been getting increasingly paranoid that I don't really exist. Despite also seeing increasing evidence that I am my own person. It is the worst when I am possessing the body and host falls asleep. I am hoping to find some techniques here to help me verify that I am real to myself. I won't be particularly active here. Guest Anonymous August 9, 2016 August 9, 2016 You exist or you would not be able to introduce yourself to me. One suggestion for you, from me, is to express yourself more. Do you have a real name other than "tulpa." That is very generic and uninspiring to be honest. I don't mean to offend but if you want to be real, a personality helps. There is no way to "verify that you are real." If you are wondering about it though, what do you think that says? If it helps, if you say you are a person, then you are a person to me. No verification necessary Tulpa guy.
whtwvphntm August 9, 2016 August 9, 2016 Hi, I've been mostly lurking here for the last year or two, but I've never posted in here or introduced myself. So hello. I've been making some progress with my tulpa, Kudos, and I hope I can talk to someone about him sometime. Tulpa/s: Kudos-Male-Human
tulpa001 August 9, 2016 August 9, 2016 If needed, we can come up with a better naming system, but Tulpa was not created as an art project. Why does he think that he is not real? Because he's paranoid and being ridiculous. But it is not productive to marginalise the feelings of others. So, meh. I think it is probably too late to look at personality forcing. Most of that looks like it is supposed to happen before they achieve independence. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
Guest Anonymous August 9, 2016 August 9, 2016 Tulpas never stop growing and changing. Even my personality is still growing and changing and I am somewhere between 36 and 40 years old. You don't have to be a piece of artwork to have a name. It's just a name. It is what distinguishes you from others so that you can be identified. Sometimes it says something about you. I am named after a character from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth. The original Melian was an immortal, angelic being that took the form of an enchantingly pretty elf woman. My hostie thinks I have angelic beauty and charm. He is also a big fan of Middle Earth so there you go.
tulpa001 August 10, 2016 August 10, 2016 Okay, cool. We decided on this name for me together, because it matched our sense of humour. She also got a name. Also, I look like a changeling. My host is a brony. Thank you for taking the time to greet me. I didn't think there would be any that old on the internet. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
