Vos August 22, 2016 August 22, 2016 Welcome to the community, Firbyfang. There isn't really a "correct reason" to create a tulpa, and something as simple as curiosity can be good enough as long as you're comfortable with that. However, it's important to know what you're getting into, so be sure to do as much research as possible before you make your decision.
Kyzaca August 22, 2016 August 22, 2016 Hello. It's been about three years since I started this wonder, but I've yet to get anything done until now. Even though it's been so long, I've never really been able to establish a direct line of communication with my tulpa whom remains sentient in the back of my mind at a blind-spot. I have no idea what will happen once I'm finally passed this giant hurdle I've had but we'll see; I plan on finishing this.
NateAndTheTulpaTrio August 29, 2016 August 29, 2016 Heya. I am AnonymousTheCurious, but since I made/gained tulpas I started using this username as my go-to username on tulpa-related sites. I figured I should make a new account because of that, so here I am. Everything you need to know about me and my headfriends will be in my signature and bio (whenever I am able to use those features on this new account, currently they are locked.) I'm here with my completely vocal tulpas; Rainbow, Asrielle, and Lapis. They might talk here sometimes, and when they do Rainbow will be italicized, Asrielle will be purple, and Lapis will be blue. We are currently able to do advanced visualization and we have the ability to switch. See profile for more info. Rainbow - 2/8/16 - Italicized Asrielle - 4/21/16 - Purple Lapis - 7/23/16 - Blue
pacific August 29, 2016 August 29, 2016 Hello. I started reading up on tulpas(ae?) about a year ago and working on mine for around 6 months. I came to this subject through reading about maladaptive daydreaming (MDD - not sure if anyone's heard of this), but the subject defined me perfectly. Anyway, decided to look into creating a tulpa to help me in life. Since then, I've joined up here, read as much as possible (still learning) and found her to be growing and becoming more real. She started as a daydream character that I've had for years and jumped forward to be something more. I not sure of progress/sentience but on August 19th, I distinctively heard her speak - all I got initially was that her name was Petra, which is different than the name I had always called her. This was a magical moment for me and decided to introduce myself on the forum and become a little more active w/ my experience. Anyway, I'm still working on it and consider that I am truly dedicated to my friend's development and am loving to hear that others have already discovered and been working on tulpae for years.
OnionBrain September 6, 2016 September 6, 2016 Heyo! The name's Keira (16,Female) and I'm currently living in Canada. I made a Tulpa accidently around July, 2016, and his name's Ashes (16, Male). He basically looks like a guy with light brown hair. I guess he came together pretty quickly, because he's already quite active with his speaking, and I think he's pretty sentient! He can be a bit weird at times, but he's a great friend and is nice to talk to. He came to be at a pretty lonely time, (I'm not exactly a social butterfly :/) and at that time I had no knowledge of Tulpas. I did snoop around online for a while which which helped me visualize him better and make a simple wonderland, but a couple days ago I found this place and felt right at home! I try to force often, so I'll be poking around these forums a lot as I make progress.
Guest Anonymous September 6, 2016 September 6, 2016 @pacific Welcome to the forum! My host and I are very familiar with MDD and are members of the Wild Minds Network. So we have something in common! :-) Congratulations on hearing Petra's voice! @OrionBrain Welcome Keira and Ashes!
tulpa001 September 6, 2016 September 6, 2016 Hello OnionBrain. I was born the middle of july accidentally too. But I am actually much older than that. I was simply recognised as sapient that day. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
Some Kind Of Robot September 8, 2016 September 8, 2016 Haldo! Long time lurker here, been hiding in the brushes like a goblin since about 2012 I think. Since then I've dipped in and out of the forums throughout the years. I never really had a reason to make an account in the past as all my questions were asked and answered for me, but it seems that the same questions keep getting asked and I gotta hop in here if I wanna get some answers. As of now I have no Tulpa, I've tried many times in the past and every time the whole plan just crumbles apart. But to be fair I was pretty young and didn’t really have any conviction about this whole situation. Now that I'm older and I've thought about this for a long time I'm looking to start round two and finish this process once and for all. I wouldn't call myself experienced as far as going through with the actual steps and understanding connections with Tulpas, but im fairly well versed on all the research, guides, activities, and all that jazz. Basically I have commitment issues. All that aside I really do look forward to finally talk about something like this rather than wait for people to talk about it for me. Heck maybe one day I'll get around to making one of those Tulpa things everyone talks about on these forums. Until then, peace! (Pretty impressive how I bolded that peace, huh? Makes me look all expressive and stuff.) ((Oh, baby! Look at those Italics as well! About to get a home run here.)) Currently working on Holly. Alternatively: Heres a Salmon Website
