Hi everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Pygmalion (named after the character in Greek mythology). I heard about tulpas recently and decided to create my own. I named her Lucy. I find certain aspects of making a tulpa difficult especially visualization, so I hoped being part of this forum would be more encouraging. I became interested in creating a tulpa because I thought it sounded like a wonderful thing. I haven't made much progress yet but I'm patient so that's okay. I hope to have a good time on this forum!

HI I'm Mangle and I joined approximately five seconds ago. If I actually correctly understood the FAQ, then I do have a tulpa already, but at the same time I am horrible at understanding things right off the bat so please forgive me. If I get something wrong please correct me nicely, but don't be an ass about it. Also please note that English isn't my first language but I know it well enough that it shouldn't heavily influence grammar/spelling mistakes, but again if I mess something up please correct me nicely. Thank you, and it's nice to meet you all.

Welcome to Tulpa Info, Pygmalion and Lucy and Mangle!

Mangle your English writing seems better than many that are native to it. :-) Don't worry my host is an ass but I can kick his brain for you. LOL Actually you will find most peoples here are very understanding, patient and nice!

Hello, all.

Just found out about tulpas last night through the years old Vice article reposted on fb. I recognized this as something I used to do during happier times in my life, and I'm gonna get back into that.

I'm also working on not just relearning what I untaught myself, but I'm going to work on creating a tulpas information aggregate site that is more mobile friendly than most of what's out there. If anyone wants to reach out articles for inclusion, including articles of personal stories instead of technical how-to, please do so. I find the personal impact stories are missing in a lot of information and could help gain acceptance better.

I was perhaps unclear. My intention was to ask for volunteers for such publication rather than creating an archive of the forum, which isn't where most searching such things on Google or similar would first find this information. While I know of the progress reports section, I don't see a forum post as explicit permission to republish, and was asking for that.

Thank you for the lead, however. ?

Hey there,

I'm Hidari, I found out about tulpae around a year ago, and fiddled with the idea a little, but didn't commit to it at the time. I don't remember how I discovered this site, however I think it may have been an informational video somewhere.

I'm 17, and I'm female, I go to an engineering high school where I participate in a FIRST Robotics Team.

Anyways, now I'm following through with this, and I'm excited to progress. I look forward to my time here. ^^

Welcome to Tulpa Info Hidari! Hey, going to an engineering high school and participating in a FIRST robotics team sounds pretty amazing! I look forward to seeing your posts and comments on the forum. Good luck on making a tulpa.

I'm new here. There's nothing special to say about me, but I've lurked around here for a long time and finally decided to make an account. I've given up on my tulpa approximately three times, so hopefully by making an account here I'll finally get to it.

Oh hey, look, it's a signature.

Hello, also new here.

I'm a self-taught web designer and Chaos Magickian who has recently decided to take up Tulpamancy. I go by the name Vampire.

I just started creating my Tulpa "Ivy", although I have been lurking this forum for a few weeks, and thought of tulpamancy years ago.

I'm going to be keeping a progress blog of Ivy as @vampuric on Tumblr.

Thanks in advance for all the help I'm sure I'll need, and that which has already been provided in the form of guides.
