Hey guys I was wondering. Since tulpa's are in your mind and there what you make to be. I'm pretty sure there are people that like to give there tulpa a special power maybe for enjoyment. But as stupid as this may sound could tulpa's with specific powers actually do something. Not physically but mental for example I've kind of been thinking lately about a tulpa who can see the future. For example if I asked my tulpa who could see the future tell me what might happen later is there a chance of her/him being somewhat right?. Again I know this may seem like a dumb question but still does anyone have tulpa's with a power and if so what kind have you tried experimenting with this in anyway.

~Believe in the you who believes in yourself~

In my humble opinion, this belongs in the meta board.

If your tulpa can predict the future, that means the future must be predictable. Implying lots of philosophy, pseudoscience and such things. It all depends on what you personally believe. Cosmetic superpowers can be fun though, both for you and your tulpa. But by going too far, I'm afraid some (I said some) tulpas could feel like they have even less effect on the material world. But that's all up to you and you're tulpa, that's my personal opinion and never actually take for truth anything I can say.

Well, the fact is that if anyone makes up a prediction about the future, there is a possibility that they might be right. The same goes with tulpas. Not because of some special power that said person/tulpa has, but because of dumb luck.

My tulpa

Name: Tammy

Sex: female

Species: Anthro (red fox)

Working on: imposition

If you mean your tulpa predicting the future of events inside your own wonderland (e.g. "I predict that it will rain in the desert, in my wonderland, tomorrow), since that wonderland is governed by your belief, then yes. You can give your tulpa powers to change or predict events internally.

Externally, however, that's a different story.

If I could see the future I would very quickly be wishing that I couldn't. It would be very sad, seeing the things that are to come. Many times life is livable because we don't know. So, no, not an ability I would want. I think someone, who could, would probably say "Only those who don't see the future want to know what it will bring. Those that know wish they didn't." There's strong reason in the comics that each Dr Fate goes insane ("The helmet of Naboo", seriously? Star Wars was referring to this?).

A more fun thing would be to be able to affect probability. Suppose you could help the probability of fortunate outcomes for other people? It would probably have unexpected consequences though, in that your own personal probabilities might be adversely affected.

Lastly, time travel should only be used for cheep practical jokes and puns (to paraphrase Douglas Adams), but an occasional going back for a lost handkerchief is probably o.k.

The prediction business is very sketchy, tulpa or otherwise. A tulpa could maybe could give you the most likely future. So out a total of 100 possible futures, the one that has a 5 per cent chance of happening is going to get reported to you. The odds are still stacked against you. You might try having the tulpa predict the stock market without actually spending money. If the tulpa did 10 percent better than just chance, would that be enough? The other thing is that people have a habit of changing their plans when you tell them the future. So any experiment would have to be double blinded. Good luck with your studies.

Sure why not. If you wanna be technical and downright controversial, tulpalamas are virtually gods in their wonderland, being able to do whatever they want. Just like you can. In the wonderland, both you and your tulpalamas are only bound by the limit of the imagination.

Vriska has incredible fight skills. She has killed a little demon, and defeated one of the Seven Sins in my mind. She defeated Sloth after a long and bloody battle. Does it count?
