Phantom limb and possession?

Whenever Spilcer practices possession with me, i sometimes feel his tail and see it's faint outline on me (im still in the imposition process). Does anyone else sometimes get that with their tulps? Is this something that happens a lot with people? Could this possibly be a way to help people with possession issues? I'm really curious about this so anyother info about this would be nice.

As for the tail, or any other limb, I wouldn't be surprised that people would develop psychosomatic experiences in relation to that. Especially if you take into account of experiential cases in lucid dreaming forums where people imagine something such as a rope "pulling" them upwards as their means for symbolic "separation," or awareness of their waking life body, and into the dreaming state.

 

It's not limited to just limbs, a submission here mentions using sensory application for imposition of imagining a chain/leash/rope/etc. between you and your tulpa.

 

 

As for the matter on whether or not it could be a possible way to help people with possession issues, well, it could go in many ways. The host may be able to imagine how it is to be their tulpas, while their tulpas transition into having more dominion over basic sensory inputs and what have you. On the other hand, if the host isn't able to practice knowing the distinction of their own senses (which they should), and shift into an imaginary manifestation of themselves (and imaginary senses) while their tulpa shifts into a different awareness, it could be problematic. Keep in mind that would raise questions on whether or not you want to do switching or possession.

 

Of course, there's more circumstantial cases than those two, but whatever the case, the phantom limb may be a useful possession aid for the sake of psychosomatic experiences, and just developing competency with things like kinesthetic senses. But with anything in the subjectivity of matters like this, creativity and imagination are the limits here.
