BeanieBrigade March 24, 2014 March 24, 2014 So, I've been playing skipbo and MTG with S a lot recently, and he gets extremely vocal when we play. But other times, I can hardly sense him. Any ideas why? And then... Insanity... Guys. My Progress ;-;
DigitalBreeze March 24, 2014 March 24, 2014 If I were to take a guess by what you said, I would probably guess its because you are paying more attention to S during the card games than you do when you are not playing. I hear Breeze more when I play chess with her occasionally. If it lets you hear S better, keep doing it.
xtar March 24, 2014 March 24, 2014 Going to go with the above poster, also card games/board games are pretty good 'mind clearers' sort of like mindful breathing/meditating which also might be helping you hear S better. Yes, card games are awesome even later in development, my tulpa loves Uno (and cheats).
NeonKnights March 25, 2014 March 25, 2014 Yes, card games are awesome even later in development, my tulpa loves Uno (and cheats). I'm curious, how exactly does that work? I can't figure a way to play any games with my tulpa which require us each to keep a hand of cards that other players aren't supposed to see. I could take it on faith that she won't peek at my cards to cheat when I'm looking at them, but if I don't look at her cards, she has no idea what cards she has. Unless you play Uno with an imaginary deck, in which case the prospect of mentally keeping track of over a hundred cards really makes my head hurt. "You've got to believe to achieve." -Hank Hill

Ouch, if keeping track of over a hundred uno cards makes a head hurt, just imagine the pain of keeping track of thousands of Magic: The Gathering cards... I too am curious of how this would work, the only way I can play card games with my own tulpa is when we're teamed up or able to see each others cards.
malesplicer March 25, 2014 March 25, 2014 With chess there is no problem of having to keep track of unknown variables and peeking at others cards, you look at the board and go from there. When Mj reaches a higher level of sentience i plan on playing a lot of chess. <<< http://community.tulpa.info/thread-mjolnir >>> Mjolnir Gender: Female Birth/Creation: Febuary 4th 2013 Astora Gender: Female Birth/Creation: April 4th 2014 Nueva Gender: Female Birth/Creation: May 1st 2015
Somekindofpony March 25, 2014 March 25, 2014 Me and my tulpae use a program called Lackeyccg with the magic plugin, we just use a rule for no powergaming, no acting on what eachother knows, but I'd love to do team games Jade "These are not the droids you are looking for" Me "These are not the droids we are looking for.."
BeanieBrigade March 25, 2014 Author March 25, 2014 To those wondering how I play with S, I simply just look at the cards both of us draw. Then, I play as though I had no idea what cards S has. Also, I can't remember what my cards are until I look at them, so that keeps S from cheating too much. And then... Insanity... Guys. My Progress ;-;
xtar March 25, 2014 March 25, 2014 As for the Uno just like you imagine magic being played. Shuffle the cards, slap 7 cards randomly each, slap a first matching card out of the drawing deck and whoever lost last takes the first move. Cheating in Uno is the tulpa using knowledge of the other my deck to its advantage (ex knows I have a red 4 holds onto lone green 4 until I slap down the red), after a loss or two the sore loser begins to cheat.
