ThatFellowWithTheScarf November 19, 2014 November 19, 2014 I don't think these sorts of things are possible, egragores, tulpas, etc. to be seen outside their original creators. Maybe something like one of those mInd reading headbands could synthesize one on a screen though.

Maybe something like one of those mInd reading headbands could synthesize one on a screen though. This is my new goal in life. To do like that Johnny depp movie uhhh...transcendence! And input my tulpas into a computer and eventually a hologram and or robot. Timofey November 19, 2014 November 19, 2014 Speaking from analysis of Russian communities, it's almost impossible even to have one dream for 2 more people. Tulpa, visible to more than the creator? *almost* No way. Don't think about *almost* like possibility, it's here because you can't be fully sure about anything. And may the fears keep away from you.
Quilten November 19, 2014 November 19, 2014 I know that there is now development of technology that allows things like scanning a person's brain activity and projecting a vague image of what they are "looking" at in their mind. I think there was a TED Talk on it. Found it, here ya go: I was wondering the extent of potential uses and research that this kind of technology could provide, especially in the realm of tulpas. Interesting either way. Even though my username is that of my tulpa, Quilten, my name is Phaneron, the host, who does all of the actual posting. Tulpas: Quilten, Jira
Timofey November 20, 2014 November 20, 2014 Believe me, Phan, some things better be not seen. Most people do not understand difference between tulpas and schizophrenia. And may the fears keep away from you.
Brassow November 23, 2014 November 23, 2014 I thinl that tulpas SHOULDN'T be researched to be honest. The cool thing about them is that we don't understand it properly. That's the fun part, trying to make sense of it in your own way. If they're "Studied" and "understood" people might just debunk the phenomenon as some sort of disorder or something. This would lead to less tulpamancers and a smaller community. "Try to get a better understanding of things before making your judgement." -Khan, Metro 2033
ThatFellowWithTheScarf November 24, 2014 November 24, 2014 We don't really have a way to research them beyond this though. We only have us. We know almost nothing and also a ton about them because we gathered so much information through the community. Which is part of why I love it. While we do alot of silly things here we are all basically researching on a spiritual level. It's also hard to boil it down to one thing since everyone sort of gets a unique ride in this. Besides, if it was a disorder that would mean there's negative impacts. Which there are none based on what I've seen.
DragonFriend November 27, 2014 November 27, 2014 Tulpae can be seen... by being drawn/painted. No other known way exists for people to see your tulpa. Part of the road to becoming a better person lies in defeating the darkness inside yourself, then helping others to do the same. There is nothing to compare to watching a sunrise with those who you love the most. "Step by step, moment by moment"
