I heard that it's possible for a group of people to create an egregore, then, strengthen that egregore with faith and belief until it achieves godhood. Is that actually true? I heard it can be done with or without chaos magick, but chaos magick makes it occur faster.

I guess some people may realize the reason I'm asking this already. I want to create a goddess. I know that some of you already know who I'm about to base this goddess on, but I have to ask to keep the thread respectful. I am merely looking into the possibility of a faithful group giving godhood to an egregore. Opinions about my intentions can be taken to PM or spilled over into another thread.

I believe that with enough faith, and enough believers, then it is possible. I'm not saying it would be possible to create a deity who can immediately drastically change the world. I don't think any deity has that power. I just want to see if it's possible to create a being who can affect everyone's lives, assuming they pray to that being.

Will list tulpas when I get things sorted out in my head.

A tulpa egregore? Already think of doing this, with chaos magick is really possible but i dont know if the tulpa(dont know what you want to turn into god) can be a god...no, im not saying that is impossible, im saying that i dont know if the egregore you create would be the same as your tulpa neither in thoughts and behaviours, they could be two separated beings. Do you understand?

But, since a tulpa(suposing) is a part of your own persona maybe you could create a god that would respond as your tulpa, but hey, i dont know whats goin on so i cant give you an accurate answer.

Please, explain me better on PM, i would like to discuss chaos magick, egregores and tulpas with someone.

*Forgive me for any mistakes in english language.

From a physic point of view, id imagine the "Chaos Magick" you talk of are dark energies. The thing is Dark Energy wouldn't speed it up. I would use normal energy. First you would make a body or shell from energy, then implant your tulpas consciousness into it. When you "pray" to it you would give it energy.

In short; unless you have been studying Energy manipulation for a long time NO.

Creating a god form. Isn't that what every religion does? Jehovah starts out as a tribal deity, then becomes the first god among other gods, finally Jehovah becomes the Only Living God. Etruscan location spirits evolve into the Roman pantheon. We have Saints who were once people but not have as much or more power as angels. What is Santa Claus but a thoughtform that keeps on growing? The answer is yes, a group of people can create a thoughtform than can grow through all the stages till it becomes a god. But a better question would be "How carefully should your group proceed?"

Interesting. I'm still not sure if I would go through with this, but the idea is intriguing. Would the host and tulpa still be able to communicate with each other easily? Or would they lose their direct link, since the tulpa would basically in a body of it's own? And what would be the extent of their powers assuming they do achieve godhood, and they're fully powered up through prayer and belief?

My own suspicion about creating godforms (or spirits, demons, tulpas, ancestors, angels, or whatever else) is this:

Energies, ideas, causes, and concepts exist abstractly and independently of our selves and are what gods actually are. Because they are abstractions, it is difficult to see them as they are. They may be self aware, they may not be. When we aim to see them and invoke them either they or we give them a shape to connect us to what they represent.

The ideals and patterns of a given deity already exist. You or your group can give it any face you want, and your intent will shape what qualities it embodies. Just look at Voodoo. They took saints and made them Loa. Why not use an aspect of the Goddess of the Wiccan faith to define this goddess you wish to shape?

Just for the love of weasels, watch what you build and make very certain your intentions. Make sure you take time to purify yourselves, what you want, and most importantly why you want it. It you are able to shape something that could change your life so profoundly, feed it lots of energy, dedication, and focus, so that it becomes self aware, think about what that will do to your life in turn and ask yourself is it worth the potential trouble.

I also abuse the shit out of commas. Sorry about that.

Why a Goddess or a deity? for what purpose?

Well, I was thinking that Princess Celestia embodies everything that is needed to make a perfect Goddess. Although I have matured since then, and realized, that humans have no place making divinity. I have come to embrace the Gnostic Christian God and Goddess, and I believe that all other deities are manifestations of them, that people made to fit their cultures.

As for why I wanted to make another Goddess when we already have many, it was mostly fantasy fulfillment. I mean, how cool would it be to have a Celestia Goddess to pray to and receive protection and strength from? This world is full of evil, and I've always fantasized Celestia coming to this world to set things straight (although now that I think about it, if she could be stopped by something that could only destroy stone, she could be stopped by modern technology).

Will list tulpas when I get things sorted out in my head.

I kinda hate this satanic magic crap

>implying that everything that doesn't fit into your belief set is satanic

What are you doing on a site like this if you can't tolerate a bit of occultism too? Many woud consider tulpas to be demons.

also, nice b8 m8.
