Looking at things on the psi wiki, and a saw the tulpa page, read about it and now i cant stop thinking about it. ^^

I was actually looking into self hypnosis over on Warp your mind, the idea being to create a secondary personality similar to a spirit guide based around an "alpha wolf" to guide me through my social anxieties, research proved that the idea was too unstable, personalities created with this method often end up fighting for control under the assumption that it's their life too.

After that i moved over to furmorphed indulging idea's of incorporating more wolf-like assertive traits through training until someone posted a thread on "Personal assistants" there in was a link to this forum and for the past month or so I've had more positive results on information here regarding the topic of Tulpas. I haven't started creating one yet but that's because i want to know everything i can before starting a very life changing journey.

Basically, a very long research trail brought me here... eventually.

I was lead here via google. After reading the creepypasta and decided to look deeper into the subject as I usually do. My research led me to this site, and I promptly signed up.

I used to (technically still do) admin a social Facebook group. some guy brought up the topic with a link to the website, which ended up causing a huge shitstorm on the group.

 

nevertheless i was intrigued, two years later with barely any posts made by me, i have two tulpas and continue to lurk these forums

An online friend disclosed to me that his RP characters were all based on tulpas, and instead of explaining the concept himself he linked me to .info's wiki page. I read through the basic information and a couple of guides, then maybe a couple of months after starting I figured that I needed more than one person's advice on something so complicated, so I joined the forums.

This video led me too Tulpas sadly. Not sad about discovering Tulpas but more of how I discovered it.

I saw the word "Tulpa" on another forum (not one I wish to mention here, it used to be a good site. It's not now.) and didn't know what it was, so I googled it. I did find the CreepyPasta story first and quite enjoyed it, but I wondered if it had any basis in fact and dug a little deeper.

The whole concept sounded really interesting, though I wasn't entirely sure I had the discipline to create one myself, so I lurked and researched. And stalked a few blogs ^^;

I've now decided to create my own Tulpa (Arielle) and thought this would be a good place to chat to like minded people :)
