I'm just being the devil's advocate here, but maybe this kind of "mind over matter" doesn't exist because no one's successfully channeled that kind of power before. This thing sounds genuine enough to be dangerous if it picks up enough people...

One word: religion. And another word: gods.

The most perfect example of this sort of thing would be the gods the Greeks believed in - basically every single one of them believed some god or another controlled every aspect of their lives. They'd pray and make offerings for everything from sailing to good health to winning wars. And to all those that believed, the evidence of those beliefs' trueness was overwhelming. How else could you explain, well, everything?

But now, to us, those beliefs seem silly and completely untrue. The things those gods were in charge of have nearly all been explained/disproven by science, and it's no longer real to us.

I don't remember where I was going with this. I'm going to bed.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

People still believe in gods. I don't, but I'm open to the idea and still practice some aspects of bhuddim and Christianity (though that one is mostly because my family doesn't know and Im in a catholic school). Most people slap a Hell sticker on me even though I'm generally a good person. I refuse to believe that a rightchious god that most describe would be so narrow as to not reveal themselves after or at death to let you accept them. Though I don't think they would throw a hussy fit and send you to whatever variation of he'll because you didn't believe in them without compeling evidence but continued to be good and spread it onto others.

Guys you are taking this way too seriously. I don't think they expect people to actually support it, but they'll take free money. Oh and you probably will never get a Tahiti from it.

Tshirt. Not Tahiti.

Oh and about those Greek gods...not everyone writes them off. I usually work with the norse pantheon, Skaði specifically most of the time.

Someone should get the $10,000 package just so the guy would go to their town and get them a dinner. At said dinner, they show them this thread and tell them why it couldn't work.

Well, there's that too...

Exactly! There is power in numbers and even more power in conviction. History has shown that we need to be the change we want to see, whether that change is for good or evil is another story.

OMG How funny would that be? Get this guy's hopes up only to bring him back down to Earth.

I have to admit, the shirts are kind of funny in an ironic way.
