Music plays a relatively large role in my life, so I'm curious how tulpas tend to react to music (if they do at all). I've yet to create one, so I can't share any experiences.

My tulpa don't really react anything to music, sometimes he sings to it, many years ago he used to dance, but he rarely do any of it anymore.

I could go on about this for ages if I wanted to.

Haven and Aphelion love singing. Haven started out as a voice in my head that replaced the original vocalist's voice whenever I heard songs in my head. Before that, she was a dream character that I had a "reunion" with a few weeks prior to when the singing started. I used that voice as her voice, so technically she's been singing before she was even born. The only problem I came across was that she was singing more than she was talking. She could sing completely fine but she couldn't talk in complete sentences (or talk at all) for a while. I seriously wish there was a way to record her because she sounds amazing. I also try to vocal impose her through the music and there are some songs where I can hear her voice incredibly well. She also taught Aphelion how to sing as well. She doesn't do it anywhere near as much as Haven does, but it's something that she enjoy doing from time to time.

"Music had a large influence in my development, and singing has become a part of my life. I haven't lived a day if I don't sing at least once. Me and my host have a lot of the same tastes in music, and we very rarely disagree if a song is good or not. As for tulpa reactions to it, it's most likely going to vary from person to person. Sometimes it doesn't affect them, sometimes they turn out like me and sing almost 24/7, but the important part is that you and your tulpa have fun listening to music."

"I'm nowhere near as obsessed with singing as my mom is. I do it when I'm really bored and I have fun whenever I do sing. I also don't really have a preference for music either, I just like what I like. Also, I was named after a song. Goes to show how much influence music has had on our family."

"It's all about synthesis, you don't have to be a real musician. You just synthesize your own reality, synthesize your own talents." -Klayton

Warning: I am a huge nerd.

All of us inherited Einulf's love of music, though in slightly different ways. Lucia likes upbeat tunes, especially J-pop and anime songs, while Jason likes hard rock and a little rap. I like a range of music, and my favorite songs are duets where I can alternate with Einulf. It's funny, we all developed control of our body's voice first, and used that as a base to expand to full switching.

Einulf and I are also getting fairly decent at co-running while playing the piano. I generally control our left hand since it's my dominant, while Einulf uses the right and Lucia manages the sustain pedal. Jason is dabbling in arranging music, with two transcriptions on Musescore under Einulf's account and another one slowly taking shape that we don't even have the skills to play yet.

Current System: Ziya (Formerly Einulf), Mizan, Aura, Dark, Lucia, Rand, Jason, Akira
