I know this isn't exactly related to tulpas, but servitors are pretty close to them. I wanna find out if you could create a servitor, let it access your subconscious and appear in your dreams, and make it tell you your dreaming. They could say something along the lines of, "You're dreaming, do a reality check."

I'd like what people think about this, and if you've tried it, tell us how it went. I already intend to try it when I've helped develop my current tulpa.

I'm not going to listen to you guys since you are all probably just talking to yourself and don't really have a tulpa like me.

[Tri] No one in our system has tried it yet. Actually, never even thought of it. Given that S can access Hail's dreams and affect her (no one has accessed our dreams yet), it stands to reason a servitor could be made to do that. Would be pretty tricky to train the servitor to do that, though. That is the real sticky point. Not sure how to go about it.

This concept seems akin to the DGILD, Dream Guide Induced Lucid Dream, explained here, though the OP acknowledged that any dream character could potentially aid one in gaining lucidity. I would imagine that, if we’re utilizing the concept of a servitor vaguely, going through that much thought repetition towards making the host lucid would raise the question on the host furthering that tendency for the servitor being capable of doing that.

In other words, like a self-fulfilling prophecy where the more you’re prone to want to consistently believe that your servitor(s) can help you gain lucidity, the more you may grow aware of the nuances with dreaming; not just through dream signs, but rather how you gain those assurances that you’re definitely dreaming. But, I think just seeing the servitor concept as a supplement towards lucidity since the efficacy is probably contingent on many things, such as, but not limited to:

- Your expectations

- Your suggestibility

- How efficient said servitor(s) would be in relaying to you that you’re dreaming, and prompting you to utilize reality checks, or just augmenting an unconscious competence that you’re dreaming simply because what you do in your quotidian lifestyle is clearly different than your dreaming one.

But lucid dreams tend to involve virtual experiential realities that are as, or even more vivid than this one that may make this point moot, though.

- How much both of you would be willing to work with each other to understand each other enough to do this consistently.

- And the stacked competencies one develops throughout their endeavor of lucid dreaming; having a repertoire of lucid dreaming techniques and crutches is probably better than just one if you can reign them altogether, and not get in a hot mess.

From personal experience, I've had Ada and Eva make me aware that I'm dreaming, though I conceptualize them as tulpas. Probably because what they're doing in particular makes it obvious, though I think this may be a questionable concept for me if imposition gets easier for me in the future. And if you just want someone to help you out, it's not as bad to do so with a tulpa instead of feeling a servitor would be more suitable for that. I mean, think about it, if they can reign in an awareness that they're dreaming along with you, that could help further whatever goals one has in augmenting their horizon of sentience.
