Kiahdaj is the only person who has not yet voted to kill Aphelion -- and Aphelion claims to be a skelly. As I see it, the votes are: Chi: Kiahdaj sushi: Aphelion GuessWho: Aphelion Aphelion: hasn't voted Kiahdaj: GuessWho Chi, I suggest you change your vote back to Aphelion. If Aphelion voted for GuessWho at this point we'd have a tie. I'm not entirely sure how ties work. The oldest vote wins the tie, but is that the oldest standing vote, or the oldest vote for someone still up for lynching? What I mean is that Chi, your (rescinded) vote for Aphelion is the only vote that predates Kiahdaj's vote for GuessWho. If Aphelion voted for GuessWho at this point, Quetzal might interpret that as GuessWho having the oldest vote. If GuessWho dies, it proves that Kiahdaj and Aphelion are skellies -- but it also means there's no possible way to stop them. The only way we can combat that is if it's our three votes against the skellies' two. We need your vote for Aphelion. And it's a pretty safe vote right now, as Aphelion has confessed, right? I hate to put pressure on anyone, particularly at this tense point, but right now I don't really care if you think I'm mafia. The innocents lose the game if an innocent dies tonight. Good thinking, sushi. ##Aphelion I think now would be a good time for the person with the X-ray machine to claim that role so the Wizard can protect them. That way, they can investigate Kiahdaj and basically win the game for us unless we screw up REALLY badly somewhere.
sushi July 20, 2015 July 20, 2015 Aphelion really messed up all the drama of my last post by ninjaing me. :) Anyway, I'll confess to being the X-ray tech. I don't think it matters at this point, but why not? The first person I investigated was GuessWho. That means I knew GuessWho was innocent when I voted to lynch him. I did that because I wanted to see who else would jump on the chance to lynch an innocent -- aside from me, only the skellies knew he was innocent, so I figured that some of the votes to kill him would come from skellies. That backfired a bit when it turned out that Melody was not a skelly. However, Melody wasn't the only person to vote to kill GuessWho -- Kiahdaj also jumped on that bandwagon. I investigated Kiahdaj that night and saw that Kiahdaj was a skelly. I thought about confessing my role at that point so we'd get one guaranteed skelly kill, but then I figured I might be able to figure out Kiahdaj's partner if I stayed quiet. Again and again, Kiahdaj said he didn't suspect Aphelion, or voting for Aphelion wouldn't give us any valuable information, or he just had a better reason not to vote for Aphelion. And that brings us pretty much up to where we are now. Sorry about the whole threatening your life thing, GuessWho. And sorry for actually killing you, Melody. Kiahdaj July 20, 2015 July 20, 2015 Very nice strategy, Sushi. Though in complete honesty, I would have jumped on your bandwagon either way. I played the game as I would have, regardless of my role. But blame being turned to Aphelion made things a bit harder for me. My one opportunity would have probably been to jump on lynching them, but I didn't like my odds on losing my partner. Also at Chi about me "doing the exact same thing". I definitely wasn't, because I was against GuessWho the entire game. Anyway, good game. We got a few good spooks in. And commiserations to the spooky skeletons; I kinda wonder if there would have been a way for you to turn the game around after this, but there probably wasn't.

GuessWho July 20, 2015 July 20, 2015 So I suppose we can call it quits now rather than playing out the formalities for the next 2 days for our guaranteed win. (Which I'm fine to do as well, if necessary.) We take one out today (3:2). They may or may not get one of us tonight, depending on whether they go for the protected person or another. And we get the other tomorrow (3:1 / 2:1) Guaranteed win - as I expected 2 posts ago.
