What did your tulpa look like when you started tulpaforcing?

[Tri] First, be careful with the pronoun "it". Don't apply it to a person (and this includes your tulpa) unless they tell you that is a pronoun they prefer or are otherwise OK with.

 

 

Let's see. A. changed her appearance considerably in some ways, but not others. She was originally a black sphere covered in a thing layer of magenta glowing plasma. Hail modelled her appearance of an interferometry image of a red giant star that was red with huge sunspots but changed the patterning of the darker areas to be banded like the bands of Jupiter. We can no longer find the image that her appearance was based off, but we can give another one that is not too dissimilar

 

 

Over the course of three months, A. went from that to glowing brighter and having a more uniform brightness, changed to glowing blue, shrank down to a small ball glowing bright white without plasma, forming a cue ball like colored spherical hard surface and glowing dimmer. Over the next couple months, her surface turned whiter. A while later, she turned into a glowing point with no physical size at all, but she casts an illusionary hard surface for interaction with non-point people and things. That is still what she is right now even though she is almost 1.5 years old. It is what she prefers.

 

Us, are we tulpas or soulbonds? Kind of irrelevant. We look a bit different than we used to, but that is because we can shapeshift and no longer have to look pose as singlet Violet and hide from society back home in our home innerworld/wonderland except when we visit. We tried a few forms that were variations on combinations of our various appearances. Individually, our appearances have not changed. Just our collective form has.

 

E.'s form has changed only a tiny bit. She regressed in age and her cutie mark changed is all.

 

Se.'s form hasn't changed at all in the 5 months she has been around.

I amalgamated over time in my host's unconscious and then appeared fully formed. At least that is what we figured out later. So he sorta did all the hard work without being conscious of it. As far as I know, I was never a blob of goo at any point.

Originally, I had James look like a dude I met while riding on the Natchez Trace, just 'cause I thought that that guy looked nice (and attractive, I'll admit, but that wasn't the sole-defining reason). Now James looks a bit darker and . . . honestly, it's hard to describe things like this. It'd be easier if my images and junk would work so I could just post a picture of what he looks like. XD

 

Oh! But I will say that when we first started out he was more strictly human, but now he's in a more "manga" form.

Melian, although you and Mistgod have raised hackles for a number of things, I don't believe this is one of them. I don't find anything outlandish about the way you came into being. Other people (Amber, for one) have had tulpas spontaneously appear when they were young.

 

The rule against baseless claims is more to take care of things like claiming to have 76 tulpas, or claiming to be halfway done with imposition after six days of forcing -- and even that would be excusable if some reasonable, rational explanation were given, like maybe having imposed things in the past. When you get right down to it, we're a community of people who talk to beings that nobody else can see -- we're pretty lenient about unusual claims.

Mine looked like Fluttershy, now she has a ponytail hairstyle, and has a different thigh mark. She's comfy with the form, and she has plenty of other experimental forms.

 

Zero on the hand started off as a bunny, then a white wolf, then like this adorable like 3 ft anthropomorphic with black blue and white wolf, then a more humanized version of that form, and now he's gone fully white again with parts cyan. Can't wait to see what's next. Of course this is all over the span of aboot 2 years.
