ThatOneGuy July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 ....Bro. It's just symbolism. Not once did he say it was energy of any kind. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Knapp July 31, 2012 Author July 31, 2012 I have now begun the Sleep Deprivation experiment (sooner than I had planned, but anyway), currently I'm 13½ hours in. Should have been asleep a few hours ago, so it's still early. I plan to crash after around 30 hours, which according to my calculations would mean that my sleep schedule will shift back into a normal rhythm for a human, and not like a vampire. I'm going to go along with activities and business as usual, and try not to depend on chemical substances to get me through this. At the time of writing, no effects or hallucinations. Yet. Also, finally, I have given Tulpa a name: Philip. It's sort of like an early month-day present from me, he'll turn 2 months on Saturday! It may change though, depending on what he thinks of it. I hope the experiment will aid in his progress, but I wont be too optimistic about it. (And yes, I have pulled all-nighters before, so don't worry) Name: Philip Age: (7 June, 2012) Form: Male teenage human, light brown hair, green eyes, jeans & hoodie Name: Amalia Age: (15 Dec, 2012) Form: Female teenage fairy, black hair, blue eyes, white dress
Avalanche July 31, 2012 July 31, 2012 I only heard bad things about sleep deprivation. A bunch of people (TOG included I THINK) tried it and they said they got nightmares, like bad ones, and they didn't get much forcing done. frt
Knapp July 31, 2012 Author July 31, 2012 Accidentally fell asleep for a few hours, so experiment failed. Will try again in the future though, for science! Not much else has happened, though I think he may be deviating again. Avalanche July 31, 2012 July 31, 2012 Although I recommend against it, it's not a failed experiment if you stayed up for 25+ hours and only slept for 2. You are now just 23-23 hours without proper sleep. You need about 8 hours for every 15. You have slept 2 for 25. You would still need another 10 hours to reset this experiment back to normal. frt
Knapp July 31, 2012 Author July 31, 2012 I did some calculations, and I stayed up for around 22 hours, and slept for around 3 hours. Haven't slept since then though, since I feel strangely alert and I don't want to waste the effort, I'm gonna continue. Here it's nighttime now, and if I had not fallen asleep I would be clocking in at 32 hours. I'm gonna go for it and try to stay up for at least 21 hours more. No visual or auditory hallucinations yet. Some nerve-related stuff have occurred though, such as I clearly felt a spider crawl on my arm. Also it sometimes feels like gravity is shifting "backwards" as if I'm leaning forwards. (Hard to explain) Name: Philip Age: (7 June, 2012) Form: Male teenage human, light brown hair, green eyes, jeans & hoodie Name: Amalia Age: (15 Dec, 2012) Form: Female teenage fairy, black hair, blue eyes, white dress
Knapp August 1, 2012 Author August 1, 2012 From when I started until now is 55 hours, lost 10 hours in between (yeah, I fell asleep again). Have had some headache and sleepiness (and the previous stuff) but nothing new. No vocal response from Philip as far as I know, though it was a bit easier to feel his presence. He has deviated again, from a sort of blurry white glowing male form to a black 3D silhouette (with hair!). His height and proportions are a little whack though, gonna have to work on that. Other than that, he seems a bit more secure and curious than before. I'll try again with sleep deprivation, maybe next week or something, since I didn't do it properly this time. Goodnight fagets. Knapp August 4, 2012 Author August 4, 2012 After getting back to my normal sleep schedule, I realized my visualization skills were much higher when I was sleep deprived. It was also easier to imagine voices and sounds. I experienced no nightmares at all, and nothing bad seems to have come out of it. Hell, Philip even deviated then. I've been having trouble of remembering his name, though it's a bit better now. I went through my forcing log, and apparently my first forcing session with him was on the 7th of June, not the 4th. My forcing sessions have been decreasing since my family came home, probably due to me not being able to talk out loud. From at least 30 min - 60 min, to around 20 minutes. I try to narrate whenever I can, but it's not easy. I'm going to try to force with Fede's tones again, I've used the Tulpatone before, now I'm gonna try the others. I quickly went through them yesterday, and I think "Loving Euphoria" is the most promising.
