Hey there!

so yesterday i met a mancer and we had long talks about tulpaforcing and stuff. At some point we got to wonderlands and forms.

He told me that when they were switching, he had another form in the wonderland or in the real world visualizing himself as a bird.

Now, i never came to the idea of having an alternate form of myself, but after thinking about it, i assume more of you have alternate forms right? I would like to have another form too, and i am thinking about which one, but i'd like to know how to get to visualizing myself in it. Say i want to be a wolf or something, sure i know i'd walk on four paws and be generally smaller than in my human form, but are there any, say, 'techniques' you are using? Or maybe some tips?

Thank you for reading! \o/

I'd actually be interested in this too.

Rina and I really have problems with switching, but maybe we just need more time... we both sort of do feel ready though.

And I'm pretty sure the problem lies with me. I sort of have a hard time giving myself a "stable" form in our wonderland.

Seconded. Any advice would be helpful on this matter.

While I'm not using a wonderland I may give some sort of advice (since i'm experienced in lucid dreaming and daydreaming.) Basically all you need to do is really just doing it. Perceive yourself as part of your wonderland beyond your physical appearance and change you in the same way as you would change your surroundings. Just don't hold onto your hull. Puppet yourself like a character in a video game. Everything regarding visualisation needs some practice, so you may take a time to really adapt this. You may even do this in first person view, but i would suggest to start with third person. I think it is easier this way.

AGGuy-

Regarding switching: The first basic move would be to let yourself step in the background thinking nothing and let your tulpa run free. I suggest to start with simple possession first, and wait until you have a stable feeling for what she is and where you begin to be.

Tulpa: Alice

Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation

She may or may not talk here, depends on her.

We'll try to take that into account. And yeah, I bookmark'd a possession guide for us. We will go with that first then!

Thanks

Just ... imagine... another... form. <--THAT

Just ... imagine... another... form. <--THAT

Fade: This.

In our mindscape, I have black angel wings and stay in a particular outfit. There isn't that much effort to looking like this; all you have to do is think of yourself looking like that. Imagine how it would feel to be that, what it would smell like... Etc etc.

A queer soulbonding system with tulpamantic influences.

I had a slimegirl form in the wonderland for a while. Got bored of that, apparently now I'm one of the Skulls from Metal Gear Solid V because I copied their abilities.

Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi

My progress report

Dav: switching we can't do, but for 'alternate forms' I'd say yes but my case is a little unusual in this community, but not others.

Solaria had chosen her own form, but in wonderland or just sekf image I'm a little red dragon as seen on my avatar. But I'm a dragonkin, the form came to me naturally without attempting it.

For those wanting to deliberately try to get that effect my best advice is concentrate on the body you desire and tell yourself it's your body, an alternate, but yours, not belonging to another character or it having a mind of its own, its 'you'. Try imagining yourself in the body moving it as your own, feel what you'd feel moving the muscles and then start working out your new senses and different point of view the body gives.

In my wonderland and dreams this is automatic for me. Thankfully body dysphoria of waking up with my human body after all night being in dragon body in dreams usually doesn't result in confusion moving my real body. Only a few rare times had a dream been so convincing and near lucidity that I were dizzied when waking trying to figure out how to move my body. Though even that wears off after a few moments once my mind shifts gears.

Having a wonderland is basically like daydreaming about the same place over and over again, at least in my experience. My form in my wonderland is just a basic anime version of myself.

Blasphemer! Heresy!
