Now that we upgraded to the new forum software, I'm curious if we can utilize the background color feature to give Moltosha and maybe Exabier colored names.

Both look fine on both themes, I think including the brackets would make it look less weird.

on the light theme the white background looks like totally normal text but the black background is visible on both themes

[Exabier] Dude, my color doesn't work on light theme. The cBox is dead, not sure if I want to go with neon green...

I need to see these in dark theme. The second one is easier to read, but I kinda like the second one more...

 

I like the second one better, maybe I can change the amount of blue in it or something

That didn't really help, but the blue wasn't making the color any prettier either. If I have to use blue I'll do it, but maybe I can get away with just making it darker without the blue.

I want to try a new color code. The current code I have is alright, but now that the forum has changed and my patience for it has waned, I want to try something new. On Google Docs, I set my color to "light cornflower blue 1", which despite the stupid name actually looks kind of nice:

how do i use the colors?

You can use colors by using the "Text Color" icon in the toolbar. I find it's easiest to use the colors by highlighting the text then assigning the color I want. Be warned though- this approach doesn't always work and you may have to try again a few times before it colors your text.

 

 

Otherwise, old myBB code might work, but I have adjusted to using the toolbar.

I'll stick with #00eed0 for now, I think it's a nice color. I don't want it to be too close to Spirit's color.
