PS: This is more of a lounge thing, though.

Admins, feel free to move this around if you want!

I'm curious about the contexts in which you all say "we" or "I".

I really noticed it in two situations. The first one, when I told a friend about Maja and later went something like "yeah and then we went meditating".. which may not seem special to any of you, but when I realised it, it felt rather odd to me, since I, as mentioned above, always thought using "we" just feels kinda weird.

Then, later, what really made my think about this whole thing..

This friend said something funny and then asked "that sounded weird, huh?", and I almost answered "yeah, and that coming out of our mouth!". Oh well. Body sharing at its finest? xD

But it's generally funny to notice how used I've gotten to using "we", or friends talking about "us" or greeting us with "Hey you two". Never thought that was gonna happen. :D

The idea is to remain in a state of constant departure, while always arriving.

Maja will either use name tags, [brackets] or this colour.

I consider this on-topic for tulpa discussion, as it is a relevant issue that comes up when practicing switching.

Unfortunately for you guys, my mind catches I/we before we say it and changes it to which is relevant very efficiently. While "we" may come to mind when Reisen is talking to someone IRL, "I" is always substituted safely.

I can definitely see how this would be a problem for others though. Don't really know what to say to help, other than just being more mindful when talking about yourself(s). Maybe it gets easier with time?

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Did you experience something like that too? And do you sometimes struggle to use the "right" form in real life?

It's rather simple for us. It is now second nature to type "we" instead of "I", and the opposite is true for real life conversation, even though I have been proxying quite a bit. Jack is discreet and wants to keep it that way, so it has been easy to keep the pronouns straight. So far.

Mlelian: We are pretty comfortable with using plural pronouns online. But, even in person, Davie will say "we" or "us" when discussing thing related to he and I when talking to family and friends and coworkers.

Mistgod: What is interesting is doubters or skeptics will point out that I switch between plural and singular in my conversations, as if that is a sign that I am not truly plural and Melian is a delusion. My response is that first, Melian is indeed imaginary and second, I am not always talking about both of us or for both of us when speaking. I will tell them I don't have Multiple Personalities, I have a thoughtform, which is different. For purposes of conversations real life, Melian is pretty much an imaginary friend to most people I talk to. It helps me to encourage that and emphasize that Melian is imaginary and part of an artistic, creative nature and my quirky imaginary world. That is in fact pretty much the truth anyway. At least the listener is a little less likely to think I have totally lost my mind.

I have a reputation for being eccentric, so most people I know don't seem to be bothered by the fact that I sometimes refer to myself in the plural.

Hah! See it's good to be weird from the get go! LOL Me too glitchthe3rd. It was easier to talk about it because people already know I am odd.

Luke tries to stick to "I" as often as possible, but there have been a few times where he's slipped up, yes. Luckily, no-one ever comments on it.

I generally use "we" when I'm around friends who are aware of tulpas, but around people who aren't I sometimes slip up and say "we." I play it off as me referencing my brother who usually does stuff with me, but no one seems to comment on it. I'm certain people have caught on to me having tulpas or something similar to that, though they have yet to approach me about it.
