Im new to this, so my opinion may not count for much. But might I suggest convincing her to allow you to listen to things that will even make you sad? I mean, those memories are a part of who you are aren't they? Obviously im not trying to say you should go wallow in agony or anything! But its the sad stuff that gives depth to our happiness.

I hope your dear friend becomes totally vocal soon! She seems sweet!

You're definitely right! I have this hunch that she won't do this everytime, but I will talk to her about it anyway.

I tend to believe that, often, tulpas are like growing children. Maybe a kid wouldn't understand why a sad memory is also important, and sometimes even necessary to think about. Because of that, he/she might try to prevent you from recalling said memory.

And tulpas do the same, sometimes (or that's what I think, at least).

But, again, I agree with you. And also, thank you for being so nice! I know that Seren would thank you too, if we had a better way of communication. :)

Nice job so far dude. I'd say you have far more motivation than I do, even though we started practically at the same time (I started on December 20). Keep doing those things and I'm sure you'll be able to hear Seren clearly sooner than you think. :)

Good luck!

Hey, thank you very much! And also, don't worry about the lack of motivation; I've been there too. It happens to all of us. Maybe, thinking about why you started making your tulpa in the first place could help you.

Best of luck to you too!

Hey guys. Everything's okay. We're just doing a little update here.

Today, when I woke up, I said good morning to Seren as I usually do, and then starting eating breakfast. This time, however, I tried to eat with her, as I pictured both of us eating in the wonderland.

It surprised me greatly when I realised she was eating something very different to what I was having for breakfast: fruit.

So, yeah! Seren likes fruit, apparently. It's good to know.

Also, as I'm not always getting stuff from her (phrases, head pressures, whatever), learning this about her was really nice.

However, I had just woken up and my mind wandered off quickly. But still, I'm happy!

Bye!

Hello everybody. Another short update here.

I've decided to write down the following for the sake of reporting our whole experience with tulpamancy in general. This is no progress.

A couple of nights ago I went out and got really drunk. I didn't do it to test alcohol effects on Seren. I just drank.

What happened? Well, I didn't remember about her at all. And, on the next day, I had this terrible hangover that prevented me from forcing.

On the day after that, I still had a noticeable headache. Once again, I couldn't even narrate.

So, yeah. That was my experience. Again, I didn't drink because I wanted to see what happened with Seren if I did; I just drank. So maybe my experience with alcohol and tulpamancy is not that valid. Not this one, at least.

However, right now I just want to feel fine and be able to force again. But hey, I'm the only guilty here.

Goodbye.

Aw man, that sucks. I know that >I didn't remember about her at all< feel too well.

Go easy on yourself, I'm sure you can make up for it later; Seeing how nice you have been with Seren I'm sure she won't mind.

Get better soon!

Hey man, thank you very much for your kind words! Seren and I really appreciate it.

I'm feeling a lot better now, thanks again! :)

Hello everybody! Great news today!

Firstly, I'd like to say that I'm feeling good already. I've been able to force throughout the day!

Something quite funny happened today.

I was in the bus, listening to music and narrating. Suddenly, I saw this violet building from a distance.

Immediately, I said to Seren something along the lines of "Violet! Really? Who lives there? Barney the dinosaur?" (please don't feel offended if you do live in a violet building... there's nothing wrong about it, it simply surprised me!)

And I got something like "That's not the color of Barney, actually". It was a mix of words and the concept itself. I suppose this is tulpish?

However, I told Seren she was right, and started thinking. Did I know any character whose body was of that color?

And then, the show "teletubbies" popped up in my mind. This led me to wonder if any of the teletubbies was actually violet.

Suddenly, the name "La La" came to me.

And I was like "yeah, you're right!".

However, afterwards I realised that actually, the violet one was Tinky Winky, but whatever.

The rest of the time spent on the bus consisted of me listening to music and picturing Seren dancing to it. You should see her when she dances to rap or hip-hop. She made me laugh on the bus, lol.

She also sings along, with a feminine voice, usually, which is good news as it means that, even if she doesn't talk a lot, when she does it's sometimes with a voice of her own.

And also, in case you were wondering: yes, when she sings to hip-hop it's really funny, too! :P

Goodbye guys!

Hello you guys! Another quick update here:

On the last days we've played those games again. The one in which Seren tells me how many letters a word has, for example. And, to be honest, I was really surprised (and happy!) when I checked and, actually, she was right. She got the first two words right, yay!

She made mistakes afterwards, but who cares!?

We also played, once again, this one:

you say a famous person name starting with A, and then, if you said, for example, Adam Sandler, then the other one has to say a name starting with R. And so on.

I won't lie: I won! :P

Oh, and also: I still enjoy playing the piano while Seren sings whatever I'm playing and, lately, I've noticed that it makes me feel very peaceful. Even when I'm playing a piece and there are no lyrics to sing along, I still enjoy it greatly if Seren's watching me play. Maybe it's because of the sound of her voice, or maybe it's simply because it's her.

Ah, almost forgot: lately, since it's getting colder and colder, I've realised that, sometimes, Seren walks by my side wearing a white winter long coat, which is lovely by the way. I'm not sure about this change; it could be my mind doing it because of how cold it is, but I want to believe it's there because Seren likes it. :)

It's something like this.

That's all for now! Goodbye everybody!

I love reading your updates man! They are really sweet! <3
