Heh. This is interesting. Seems this is a difference between tulpae and soulbonds. As a soulbond, I have back-loaded memories of a life as a Japanese-American, so I feel a connection to both those countries.

Pretty much everyone else in my system feels the same connection to where they "came from" too, even if we've never been to that country, or if that country doesn't even exist in the real world. Soulbonding is weird, am I right?

AMERICA! FUCK YEAH!

Guns!

Chevrolet!

Camouflage!

Burge-!alright I don't like burgers, but I love Freedom Fries! *bald eagle scream*

On a more serious note, we both tend to enjoy some of the "cultural aspects" but neither of us are too gung-ho about it. It's not a bad place to live but we do have a lot of serious problems here.

Made me laugh. +10 internet points.

I see. Heh. Ask me all about problems. 102 people died in my hometown 5 months ago because of a bombing.

Whatever, unrelated. Thanks for the input.

"Very cool" or "extremely interesting" would be my wordchoice, but that doesn't mean "weird" can't be cool/interesting. The pretty opposite, actually.

Thanks for the input.

I think nationalism isn't a good phrase here. It holds many different meanings and for some people it's a plain synonym of racism...

But I love my homeland and consider myself as a Finn. I love our language, nature, history, folklores and old pagan religions. Some of those are my hobbies. Even my wonderland is a piece of Finnish nature... I'm not interested in politics, modern things or stuff like that though. And I considered Jaakob as a Finn too but when I asked about his opinion he said that he doesn't really have a nationality. Oh well.

Well, I used it in the plain and simple meaning. I'm sorry, I can't ponder about how every person can interpret a word's meaning. If I did, I wouldn't talk.

I see. So tulpas tend to be pretty neutral.

I understood that you didn't mean it in a negative way :) Maybe I'm just being too cautious about those kind of labels because lately these things have become very sensitive subjects.

Off topic but did they ever figure out who exactly did that and why? I know one of the bombers was ID'd as the brother of another guy who was involved in another bombing or something, but nothing I've read seems to directly point fingers...

There's been a lot of crazy shit going on lately. Try to stay safe.

It's not a dirty word on its own. It depends on the person/people/party using it and their intentions. You can be a nationalist and not be an extremist.

It's best to just call me Beany.

No, man. They never did. They won't. Everybody knows that it's either ISIS or the PKK, though. Thank you.

I have never strongly associated myself with anything in the real world. However, when someone asks me where I live, like if they don't know I am a thoughtform, I usually answer "California." It is a lot easier than trying to explain I live in a mind space. That being said, I do feel that I am a citizen of the United States, because my host is. I do like the U.S. and I do align with most of the basic values that Americans uphold such as democracy, individual freedom, free speech and all that. I would support the United States in any just conflict or any of that sort of thing, although I abhor war. War should always be a last resort.

Another member of the land of the free. I see. Unrelated, but I'd like to see your country one day.

I also abhor war. I've seen too much of it, I've lived through too much of it. So yeah, I share your views here, Melian.

You seem to have a home; a place where you belong to. I also have a place I belong to, I can't explain it, though. It's nice to see that people have a place in the real world :P.

You seem to be a little far from the "neutral" view tulpas tend to take. Some difference at last! :)
