So, this has been on my mind for a bit of time.

We had a thread here discussing whether tulpas saw themselves as human, and the majority of them said that they did.

Since they do, I wonder if they also consider themselves "nationalistic", or if they have a nation that they feel they belong to. Being "nationalistic" seems to be a pretty big thing with today's society, it especially is where I am from. This is not the case with me, nor does it seem to be important for Céleste, but I wonder if the rest is also like us.

Tulpas, are you nationalistic? Do you care about where your host is from? Do you think that you belong to a certain nation?

Same. Neither of us feels a strong bond to any nationality.

She may or may not talk here, depends on her.

Yes yes, exactly. I have never been nationalistic, and this seems to be the case with Céleste too. But we probably do have some nationalistic people around here, I wonder if their tulpas are also nationalistic.

Note: This is off-topic, but I wonder if you were inspired by the game Alice: Madness Returns while working on Alice.

I consider myself a citizen of the internet at most. I don't have any sense of nationalism for my country, just a general thankfulness to it for enabling me to live my life I suppose.

My tulpas are obviously even less associated with anything. They're either label-less or consider themselves something weird.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Another one in the club then.

It's funny, I have the same sense of belongment when it comes to video games.

I was born in Germany. No matter if you want to count my birthplace as a tulpa or the birthplace of the fictional Esterina. But I don't identify as German, or anything else for that matter. Partly because I spent the better 16,000 years of my (fictional) life elsewhere and partly because I don't care about nationalities.

I meant thankfulness to my country by the way, not the internet. Though they've served me both equally..

I asked Lucilyn what she considered herself to "belong to", and she said life, or the same thing that all other humans belong to. That's pretty nice.

Oh, I see.

Lucilyn is on the right path, man.

This seems to be the general look upon nationality here. Thanks for the information, Esterina.

None of us consider ourselves to be nationalistic.

Yup, another one. Thanks for the feedback.

Burge-!alright I don't like burgers, but I love Freedom Fries! *bald eagle scream*

On a more serious note, we both tend to enjoy some of the "cultural aspects" but neither of us are too gung-ho about it. It's not a bad place to live but we do have a lot of serious problems here.

It's best to just call me Beany.
