To begin with, im not a potthead, i only use marihuana as a part of dealing with stress, even with all the stress I am handling right now i dont even use it that often, but I just wanna know if anyone had an strange anecdote while under the influence of this, and if it helps in the creation process.

My tulpa doesn't seem to reply much the day after and the head pressures I get from him become more like that of weed only better. I'm only in my second week of making him and new my first one. If you get distracted easily while using it then dont force him while under the influence. Let me know what you experience, I've been looking for q thread like this for a while

To begin with, im not a potthead, i only use marihuana as a part of dealing with stress[...]

Says everyone who uses drugs. Even the worst pot-heads "I'm not a druggy, I just use it to relieve stress". I watched both of my sisters make this excuse.

Marijuana has both psychotropic and depressant qualities, meaning it hinders your short term memory and dulls the body's response time. Any benefits you might get imagination wise from the psychotropic qualities (which in my opinion is opening up a can of worms in itself) would be negated by the depressant qualities and how that hinders your mental abilities as a whole.

"When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

-Arthur Conan Doyle

I'm sure every drug affects everyone differently, but generally marijuana seems useful as an antidepressant. I don't agree with using drugs for non-chemical-fixing reasons, ie prefer.. I don't know.. learning how to deal with problems and improving your mindset, but otherwise I have nothing against marijuana. The two main problems with it are 1: It's a drug, it leads to unsafe environments generally speaking someone like me would never be exposed to, and increases your chances however little of doing any other drugs too. (People tend to say they disagree, but compared to me, a non-smoker, it is true) And 2: It's not a very efficient way of coping with anything. It costs a lot of money, especially in the long term (similarly to cigarettes which are 1000x worse), and despite not being physically addicting, can be psychologically addicting if you come to rely on it for its effects when your mindset/emotional state without is distressing.

That much is undoubtedly true. Otherwise, I really don't have anything against marijuana use. Just like people think egg yolks lead to high cholesterol through association (egg yolks are perfectly healthy dangit), they think marijuana use leads to addictions and "getting involved with the wrong crowd". As a gateway drug, and before it was legalized in many places, those were true. But they aren't now, and they're becoming a lot less so.

As for any actual negative effects, among those who think there are any, beliefs are highly exaggerated. And perhaps underestimated in those who believe there aren't. I've been around a lot of people who smoked marijuana (and nothing else), so I've seen the effects and lack thereof. I will say just as with literally any other drug (almost literally, including many medicinal ones) you shouldn't "drive or operate heavy machinery" while under any influence, but still, people seem to function relatively well when they're "high" but not "stoned". Which I assume is similar to being "buzzed" or "drunk", but I can't say for sure. Anyways, two things for sure, being very high is bad for any non-chill circumstances. Great at a party or with friends or whatever, but driving is not good. And two, being high at school is not good. Seriously, no matter how much anyone does or doesn't believe in side-effects of marijuana, you can't argue that it doesn't hinder your ability to focus and learn. I'm sure you play CS:GO just fine, but I know from an awful lot of experience (unfortunately) that being high means you aren't in a focused, learning conducive mindset. So if you value your education, high school or college, don't go to school high. And I don't know if it's the type of marijuana or the amount, but if you're "really stoned" and not just "kind of high", please don't drive. And if you have a reliance on marijuana for whatever reason (being stressed without it counts), try and fix the actual source of the problem too. Even if marijuana was a perfect coping method for something, coping can never work as well as actually dealing with the problem. And I'm a huge advocate for personal development and developing healthier and more efficient mindsets, so "life is stressful in general" counts as a problem.

Also I feel like noting, no matter where you are on the matter, you aren't allowed to consider marijuana worse than alcohol. I don't care how abundant drinking is, it is proven in every single possible way with real studies to be worse than smoking marijuana. Period. You're more dangerous on the road, you're way more likely to be physically violent, it's much harder on your system, and it's much easier to drink too much. I despise people who are against light marijuana use yet still love getting drunk at parties or whatever.

If you're against both though, more power to you.

(Marijuana use and how it affects your tulpas is just as varied as how it affects any individual person - it should be alright, but aside from specific personal experiences it's impossible to discuss)

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

I will not argue that the use of marihuana can lead to really bad results, depending on the situation, but I am not stupid enough to go and try more powerfull stuff.

I am not a drug addict who actively looks for marihuana or spends a substantial amount of money on it, it was just a question that passed trough my head.

Hopefully i get more responses, I want to know what other people think about it without picking any side on it because I dont want to argue with anyone.

Sorry for my english, it is my second language :). (I also had a question about the conflict of having to switch between 2 languages all the time, but I will do it later)

I've been a medical marijuana patient for the past two years here in California. In my personal experience, I have had nothing but positive, uplifting experiences with my tulpa when we partake. I still struggle with visualization as I've always had, but after smoking Lucy's voice becomes sharper and clearer, and our conversations turn to the philosophical; often we end up just sitting in each other's arms talking of the cosmos, the future of space travel, and the mysteries of ancient civilizations! (But have respect for the plant, don't overindulge too often, and don't smoke for the wrong reasons.) Lucy also notes that while she enjoys smoking from time to time, smoking too often leads her to feel "foggy" and a bit slow, if that makes sense.

I think it would be good to say that discussion on drug use should stay cogent to the topic at hand, that is, OP's question on how it pertains to the creation process. Arguing the moralities/ethics of drug use is tangential at best, and completely off-topic at worst. Now, onto the matter.

As far as personal experience goes, I've had negative results with cannabis in terms of the forcing process. I already had my tulpa at that point, so I cannot speak to creation. However, that was mostly from over-indulging on edibles, so basically Indica, which is notorious for making people lazy and have completely poor focus. Were you to use Sativa, I imagine that there would be positive effects in terms of focus/concentration, which are both very useful for forcing and the creation process in general. However, your mileage may vary as it is entirely up to how it effects you and how you manage/respond to that.

Lotus says:

Wow, that pretty much perfectly mirrors Anti's and my relationship with weed. Honestly, truthfully, it's just completely kickass. It becomes a lot easier for Anti to hear me, sharply, and most of the time we smoke we like to just set aside the evening, get blazed out of our minds, and share a gentle, relaxing night together. It's very intimate and helps us sort out our priority and responsibilities in life, and it's just very grounding and peaceful. It's so much easier to let go of stress, especially the stress surrounding the "legitimacy" of my existence that we still sometimes struggle with. I don't necessarily recommend drug use to others, just as a general principle. But if a tulpa and host find anything that lets us bond as much as weed does, I urge them to use it for healthy reasons.

Sadly, it's been about 4 months since we had the opportunity to smoke, since Anti's presently on a job hunt. But one day, hopefully soon, we'll be able to spend that time together again.
