The celestial bodies literally aligned.. and right as I was about to fall back asleep at 4AM my mom and brother came back from his failed attempt to fall asleep for/at a sleep study, and ruined pretty much everything. However, for some reason (possibly fire related), I just looked outside and the moon is still red. And the night after the "full moon" is normally less than a percent of illumination off of 100, so I'll consider this a second chance.

I guess my dreams just aren't as interesting as Lucilyn's or something, WBTB still doesn't cause anything special for me. I even felt kind of sick today and managed to take a 2 hour nap at 4PM and nothing. I'll probably switch back with Lucilyn for progress's sake tonight.

I guess I had another lucid dream kinda xD

All that matters is I couldn't make the others appear despite our practice and I didn't stabilize the dream so it was blurry and didn't last long

 

... well that's about it, I really don't remember it well. I remember walking to "our door" although we can't possibly have been in our room again.. I tried to imagine Flan's room behind me and I feel like the lack of dream stabilizing made me practically be there (like I was looking backwards for a second) instead of just believing/imagining/whatever. And when I opened the door I don't even REMEMBER what the hallway looked like, this is why we have a protocol!! but either way when I got to the end I tried to do the expectation belief but it wasn't strong enough and they still weren't there.. and then idek what to do once that fails, like, I look away and try again but it's basically over by that point

 

so, PROTOCOL! Stabilize! and then, DREAM CONTROL! Idk! we already have like 2 hours of practice visualizing that entering our wonderland to see each other thing (recently) so I think we'll need to think of something else 'cus this isn't working, but having clearer and longer lucid dreams will surely help

 

still counts as a win to me tho, LD count 3

aaaa woke up at 1pm and was like no so I went back to sleep until 4pm and then stayed up all night most of which (about 6 hours) I played Puyo Puyo Tetris with our brother lol, now it's 9AM and I am TIRED

and got those not-quite-delirious-but-still-weird thoughts that happen when you're really tired

cool song! haven't listened to it in a whiiile. the part at 0:25 I can like feel/see in three different parts like a rhythm game, dododododo-dadadadadadada-dededede, and that's how I know I'm really really tired. not even seeing tetrominoes/the tetris effect or syndrome like I probably should lol, just visualizing music or something..

 

oh anyways, I had a bunch of dreams last night from sleeping so much one of which I remember being really lame and stressful, had a few of those recently. lame and stressful dreams are lame and stressful and I prefer the fun ones.. uhhh, well yeah that's it, schedule's a lil off so I'm fixing it, no lucid dreams the last few days, and I'm still thinking of how to make the others appear in the dreams when I do have them.. apparently it's kinda tricky, gotta find ways to convince our mind that they should be there, it's all about what you really believe and that's tricky!

Sorry if this is an stupid question but, can't you impose them in the dream like you would do in real life?

Hi I had another lucid dream a couple days ago, but all of my friends are finally playing games with me again so I've been too busy to write a post (like by the time I go to bed and remember I'm way too tired), but now it's morning and no one's here so --- and now it's 2PM and I spent the last like 9 hours playing games again xD well I'm back now! continuing,

 

it really wasn't special, again as always et cetera sheesh, I basically had some dumb things happening on our computer and was like well I want to fix this, but maybe it's a dream too, and reality checked and it was (getting used to the reality-check failing sensation! feels like a good thing, logically should be a bad thing!), but then I was gonna go out our door but heard people outside and was like I don't really want to run into dream NPCs and just spent the next minute re-re-re-remembering to stay lucid and eventually thought I was waking up because I saw LIGHT as if my irl eyes were opening and ended up waking up (I mean.. I woke up for real, but probably coulda dreamed longer if I didn't fall for that) {whoops, shoulda specified there wasn't light in our room and it was a false awakening that led immediately to a real awakening lol - but I think if I just focus next time on one thing I won't wake up..}

 

sooo! Decided the best thing to do next time I lucid dream is to STAY LUCID, no matter what happens, even if I just sit there doing nothing, not go anywhere or try anything special. I figure the longer I spend in a lucid dream the easier it'll be to do in the future, so, I should just focus on staying lucid and being in the dream, maybe try and make me look like myself too. But nothing special!! No going anywhere! And I'll stand my ground if there's people around too, next time is entirely based on making the dream last a long time!

aaaaaaaw, almost had a lucid dream last night, but a thing that's never happened before happened and ruined it..

 

so I already forgot what the scenario was but I was around a whole bunch of people and realized I was more-than-likely dreaming and I was about to y'know announce that to everyone and get into more dream shenanigans but I stopped myself and was like, wait, I should focus first

and then

my right foot was uncomfortable so I moved it and MOVED IT IRL DANGIT and literally woke up !# %45

Even NOW as I say that it sounds like a false awakening! but it happened, I made sure to reality check despite being so sure I just woke up, and memories follow from there without trailing off too... soooo dumb, I can't believe that! I THINK I was about to be waking up anyways, which is why my thoughts were clear enough to realize I was dreaming, but I DID get up for a few min 90 minutes before that for WBTB, so idk. I guess I'll just choose to believe I was about to wake up anyway but that's still super lame.. and super weird our sleep paralysis didn't stop it and it wasn't a false awakening. I musta been about to wake up because our sleep paralysis is usually 100% perfectly, uh, on time?

 

it's been forever since I let someone else front (or feels like it) so I should do that soon.. I hope they can have all these chances at lucid dreaming like I have. I'm sure they can!

This feels like a dream reading your posts. It also sounds difficult. I have had the occasional lucid dream, they are a lot of fun, but they tend to be so fleeting and rare for me.

 

I have had more consistant luck with a lucid hypnagogic state. Specifically a relaxation meditation method is employed where i slowly shut down my body parts, starting from my toes, working my way up. Sounds like, "Drain all the energy from your feet, any discomfort or other sessations slowly dissapear." As you work your way up your body you tell yourself you are getting more relaxed. It also requires being tired, or having a sleep deficit, and sleep is the final outcome for me every time. This gets me there every time though, i made it to shoulders only once. If you arent tired enough, it doubles as a self hypnosis guide because you mention in the beginning that if you make it to the head, you will be open to positive hypnotic suggestions, then you give yourself some positive direction like, "you will be happier", "you will think of others more". As soon as i realize i am there, which is pretty easy because i start to hear non-tulpa random voices and see vivid random images, i can play. My longest encounter was a good 20 minutes. Thing is, its not a dream, i remember everything vividly, it is way more stable. I am still awake, it is kinda like a space between awake and asleep, but you can move your body irl and drift in and out. The technique where you spin to stabalize your dream seems to help here too. Though things can be distorted, voices, faces, but i know who is who. Its pretty amazing, and i can do it every night if i want, it can be dissapointing too though. Like when one of my tulpae had a masculine voice due to no fault of her own and i couldnt fix it.

 

Another way to describe it, a lucid hypnagogic state is like a blending of the dream space, and consious space. You can wake up or go to sleep at will, though these are one way doors. It is very satisfying when it works well and those memories are heavily burned into my mind. Photographic recollection of those experiances. You also can do this at any time, but it has been more sucessful at night in bed, or before a nap. I abandoned my efforts to increase my lucid dreams for this method, but lucid dreams are a way better ride in many ways.
