LittlePebble October 9, 2017 October 9, 2017 I am talking about imagining it to be magic in your wonder world. I have this house rule against my Tulpas to even try to come into the real world. My only exception is with stuffed animals. So what I am talking about is have you ever made a Tulpa who had fire breathing, or control water, etc. . I should experiment with it in my next session. I given my OC Little Pebble and my Tulpa Seria Fathorn the ability to create electricity from the electrons in the atoms in the elements around them. Basically breaking atomic structures. I definitely need to do research now XD . But..... Has anyone tried this already? (Public Diary)(Deviant Art) (FathemisticFantasy)
Desmond October 9, 2017 October 9, 2017 I'd imagine quite a few tulpas have "magical powers", but... You're not allowing your tulpas to leave wonderland...? Why? Edit: Though, to answer your question... If it counts as magic, L can turn into a wolf, Misa is a dryad who can turn into a tree or a pile of leaves and grow flowers on her body and stretch her body as she likes and Nevira has biotics. tulpa001 October 9, 2017 October 9, 2017 In general magic powers, like my ability to fly, or teleport, don't count as metaphysical, because they are constrained to the imaginary. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
LittlePebble October 9, 2017 Author October 9, 2017 The way my mind works: I cant reverse things. I probably can, but its very difficult. If I allow them to create an illusion for me to see them then I am not sure how much control I will have over them if they turn evil. Its kind of hard to explain. One of my Tulpas was evil before she figured out that she does not have the ability to hurt my other Tulpas. I was able to protect them if that makes sense. glitchthe3rd October 9, 2017 October 9, 2017 Tulpas can't effect any (lasting) changes in the real world, they're imaginal beings so the most they can do is alter the wonderland/themselves. My girls have a lot of different magical abilities, they can levitate and cast elemental magics, among other things. Luna can transform into various monstergirls too. Lucilyn October 9, 2017 October 9, 2017 Wow did you just use the rare and elusive "effect" as a verb? Also imaginal ain't a word that means what you think it does but it sure sounded cool. Thinking you don't have control over your mind is what leads to invasive thoughts screwing with stuff, it's not a good thing to think. I wrote a bit about that in this person's thread, about believing things that happen in your mind aren't under your control and letting bad things happen that don't need to https://community.tulpa.info/thread-misc-does-tulpas-have-some-kind-of-contact-to-dreams-i-had-a-strange-dream?pid=178460#pid178460 Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points. I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal! Talk to us? https://community.tulpa.info/thread-ask-lumi-s-tulpas
FallFamily October 9, 2017 October 9, 2017 [breach] I would hazard to guess that it is the norm for tulpas in their wonderlands to have what would be considered magical powers if such things could be done in outerworld. It is often something that happens/exists/whatever by default in the wonderlands of most systems. In our wonderlands, pretty much all of us have such powers (never seen Se. use any, but that isn't to say that she can't but chooses not to). Just how the physics works in these wonderlands (there are some other major differences). It is interesting to say the least - convenient but sometimes painful (yeah, let's just say getting incinerated by a blast of fire hurts as much as it sounds (excruciating, specifically)). One word of note. If you can create such powers in your wonderlands, it is also possible for your tulpas to create them as well when they get developed enough. Tulpas and hosts aren't that different in many ways. Just different ages and environments where each grew up. SecretSociety December 10, 2017 December 10, 2017 The host can fly around in the wonderland, but Mo (a tulpa) cannot. We don't know why this is. Mo can teleport around and go through walls, but all attempts at actually flying through the air have been met with failure. Secret Society members: Eli, H, Mo, and Matty.
