There's such a lovely spring breeze outside today. - Gavin

Here too, it's nice. This time of year there are a lot of birds qnd baby birds chirping up a storm.

Once there was a robin nest in the lilac bush in my yard and it was like at chest-level and I got to see the eggs and the baby birds and when they were learning to fly we watched out the back window. It was only that one year though. I had a friend who, robins would built a nest in her gutter every year, and and every year she would beat down the nest with a broom. One year the nest had eggs and she didn't know, and when she beat it down, the mother robin came and attacked her. I think baby birds are ugly compared to a lot of baby animals but the chirps are cute. - C

There are lots of red wing blackbirds displaying around here, they can make quite a racket. There's nothing too special in Illinois, but we have robins, cardinals, the occasional blue jay. Hummingbirds. If you're lucky you'll see a hawk or bald eagle. The bald eagles are in January, though. -G

I got to hold a guinea pig today and they make cute noises too, they're way more noisy than hamsters. Their feet are weird though. Almost like chicken feet but smaller. But, still cute. Do you like rodents? - C

We're having a weird amount of wind in our thunderstorms now. Otherwise, it's pretty outside.

Hamsters and rats are the best. Guinea pigs look weird to me in general. Mice are too small. My friend had rats and they were very cuddly, they would crawl up on my shoulders and snuggle against my neck. Their tails are a little scaly.

Hamsters and rats are the best.

Rather than assume you've ranked them above rabbits, I'm instead going to assume you don't even consider rabbits cage animals in the first place and so not directly comparable to hamsters and the like. Good on you, Bear! Very forward-thinking.

Incidentally, the Rodentia order does not include rabbits.

Rodent hierarchy according to a nice bear if rabits were even part of the original question, re: rodents

Ah, I missed the very last word Ranger said of "rodents?", and only saw talking about hamsters and gerbils and such.

It is definitely best rabbits aren't grouped with rodents. Rabbits are a little more sentient than rodents, they require more mental and physical stimulation to stay healthy, like larger mammals.
