DoctorGod August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 Hello fellow scientists. I will skip any formal introduction, but sitting here with a headache were pain remains in the left part of the back of my head I'm left thinking; where does the pain occur for you when being a result of tulpaforcing? And does it occur on the same place for everyone else who *forces? Think about it, and think about it carefully, if there is any distinguishable features of the headaches being a direct result of tulpaforcing this may or may not come helpful to understanding some of the physical and psychological process of how and why tulpas are made. ( By why I am reffering to what causes the brain to create a self-conscious hallucinogenic "entity. ) I hope as many of you as possible can contribute with your knowledge. This is how you create a tulpa: http://bit.ly/OOVdOn
DreamCloud August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 Right part of the back of my head, behind the ear. Doesn't hurt though; imagine a migraine without the pain.
TulpaCouple August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 Mostly it is in the front area, more like weight than a headache. Like the inside of my head is hollow and he chose to lay down in the front half of my brain. For Nate it was a piercing split down the center of his head. We have noticed it is different depending on what we are focusing on. Like more to the side during personality, or more towards the back during visualization
Chupi August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 On the rare occasions I've had a forcing headache, it was around the front of my head. I've had 3 basic types of tulpaforce headaches: concentration, ones from squinching my eyes without realizing it, and ones from dehydration. I haven't done much imposition yet, but that will probably be far more headache-inducing than the rest of the process. I think the general lack of headaches for me is because I don't force myself to keep going... either it comes naturally or it doesn't. When it doesn't, I usually stop. Citizen Anon August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 Forehead, but I wouldn't use the word "pain". Partially because it's more of a pressure than a pain, and partially because I wouldn't want my tulpa thinking she was hurting me. Might make her feel bad or something, I dunno Name: Lyra Form: http://i.imgur.com/JjMxK.jpg Sentience: Emotional responses, occasional brief vocalization Currently doing: Personality & narration
SSaint August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 Sometimes my eyes hurt from crossing them when I focus. That's about the only head pain I get from forcing. Occasionally I'll get a strong pressure on my temple, but that happens outside of forcing more often than during forcing. I typically do sessions of 45 to 60 minutes, and do 45 to 90 minutes of forcing a day. “There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings.” -Friedrich Nietzsche
Sands August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 Right side of the head, a bit to the back, behind the ear here too, mostly. It's where I feel his presence and where I feel his voice coming from. Don't ask, it's weird I guess. Early on it was rather painful headaches, then it just turned into sort of pain with occasional pain spikes and now it's just a feeling. When I forced personality, other traits were felt more on the right side of my head while others were felt more to the left. Not quite in the middle of the left side of my head, somewhere between what you would call "side" and "top". Yes I get headaches around the centre of my forehead the day after I Tulpaforce (usually because I tulpaforce at night) they usually last between 1 - 3 hours
Kadoh August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 I actually get more of a feeling like I'm being lifted out of my body than a headache, is that weird? My opinions are all subject to change.
Charles August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 I normally feel it in the upper-center of my forehead, and occasionally in a line across the upper forehead. But as others have said, it's more of a pressure than a proper pain or headache.
