6) I really want to make the rule "Post the correct rule number" but sadly, 6 is a triangle number or something. So instead, let's add the joker game to our posts (a simple variant of old maid where you add a joker to a 52 card deck instead of removing a queen). We'll make it a 2 player game, just so it doesn't get too complex. If the previous rule post didn't include the hands, or if it showed a game with just the joker left, randomize new hands. Otherwise, pick a card to take. Either way, post both hands (with a clear order) along with any pairs of cards that were removed from the hands. Since the joker game normally involves not being able to see your opponent's hand, we'll use a different method of randomizing things. Take the rule number, then get the corresponding letter from your username, excluding all non-alphabetical characters (so the fifth letter of jean-luc is 'l' instead of '-'). If the rule number exceeds the length of your name, loop around (so the tenth letter of Cornelia is 'o'). Now, take that letter's position in the alphabet, or it's position + 26 if it is capitalized (a = 1, b = 2, z = 26, M = 39). Add that number to the rule number. That is the position of the card you will pick (make sure you take it from the correct hand). As with letters in your username, loop around if that number exceeds the number of cards :)

 

Cards that were not picked or removed from the game should stay in the same position. Do what you will with the picked card. :(

1) Rules need to have all vowels of the alphabet in the first sentence of the rule. The letter "y" is not considered a vowel for this rule.

“No swiping” didn’t mean anything, so you didn’t have to follow it. It was, in fact, the easiest rule in this game to comply with.
