Hi!
im working with Evan more, but I’m having a hard time with active forcing. I was wondering if anyone has ways they get around this? I read that active forcing is rlly important and I want to make sure I put in as much effort as I possibly can!! :0

Remember that you don't have to active force! Passive forcing is good too. It's all on a spectrum really and it can be confusing. Recently to talk to my tulpas more. I've been active forcing (I was mostly biased towards passive forcing until recently.) Something we do often is re-do introductions whenever we feel necessary, it gets us into the mood to talk about ourselves or each-other! I was never into open-eyed forcing. Actually only recently have my visualizations been to a point where I'm okay with open-eyed, but I still do closed-eye active forcing since it helps me focus on my minds eye. To make it easier on yourself, something I do is use some sort of blindfold, sleep mask, towel, proper blindfold, even your own shirt, etc, most things can work as long as you can tie it around your head and it can cover your eyes good enough without being super tight. If you have a wonderland. I would plan something fun to do in that wonderland. The most agreed beginner method is talking to your tulpa, but "talking at your tulpa" also works. What it means to me is that you just monologue towards your tulpa and occasionally pause to allow your tulpa to respond once in a while. Hope this helps!

Hey there, the name's Bryan. In system Re:Body(In order of the rainbow):

Sean, Esper, Blinky, Compact, Janey, Kyle, Gwen'd, Gwen, Emily, Rollin, Waynin, Trease, Layy, Justin, Chloe, Zachery, and Elliot.

I've been here a while. Much longer than I thought I'd be. Our system was founded October 2nd, 2018. In early 2020, we decided that due to our systems exponential growth, we'd limit who would be active. Now, every month, we do a check to see who wishes to be in dormancy and who wishes to be active. Currently, for the month of September, 2022, we've got myself(Bryan), Janey(Co-host), Emily, Layy, Chloe, Trease, Rollin, and Esper(sub-rep). After over 2 long years, we can finally switch :)

Bryan is currently swapped in as host, Esper is sub-rep.

Pretty much anything that a person can do has an underlying skill involved, which is why passive forcing works. Even if all Evan needs to do is come up with a simple response to something you're doing, it's still a skill.

I'm assuming you want something a little beyond that though, so find something you enjoy doing that he can actually participate in, not just respond to.

You can do pretty much anything, although I would try to find something that requires a skill he's developing.

For example, if you want to try to expand his vocabulary, find a word game of some sort.

Logical thinking? Play something like 20 questions, have him try to find out what you're thinking of.

Creativity? Write a story with him.

Personality? Find a quiz online, have him pick the answers.

Even if none of those sound appealing, I'm sure you can find something you enjoy doing that he could do with you.

If you can't think of anything, have a peek at this:

There's probably something in there.

Also, quick footnote, if you're trying to work on vocality I think doing pretty much anything will help with that, it just gets better over time.

Sorry if I totally missed the mark on what you're asking for, but I figured that this was worth posting anyway, just in case.

Currently existing, panning on doing that again tomorrow.
